A limit plate is fixedly connected to the back of each second hinge and comprises two limit faces facing each other. When the backrest is rotated to the position perpendicular to the upper sitting face of the stool body through the hinge devices, the two longitudinal limit faces of each limit plate are used for limiting rotation of the corresponding first hinge and the corresponding second hinge of the backrest plate respectively.
