| PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable sofa which can be snuggly set in a small space and when it is folded, and which is excellent in portability. SOLUTION: This foldable sofa is composed of a seat part and a backrest part 2 that are separatably connected each other through the intermediary of a hinge member 5 which allows the seat back part to swing between an upright position and a sidelong position, the seat part 1 having a hinge connecting part which is extended to a high position where the folded backrest part 2 is made into close contact with the upper surface of the seat part 1, and a cover which covers continuously over at least the rear surface of the backrest part 2 and the rear surface of the rear seat 1, having a part facing the hinge member 5 and formed therein with a vertically folded dart part 34. Further, a partition member 36 partitioning an underneath cushion member 17 forming the seat part 1, into a hip support part and a leg support part, is embedded in the front lower part of the underneath cushion member 17. Accordingly, the backrest part 2 can be folded so as to be made into close contact with the seat part 1 so that the height of the sofa has a height which is substantially a half of the overall height thereof, thereby it is possible to fold the sofa in a compact cubic shape.
