PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a defect in the attachment in a load carrying woven fabric assembly.
SOLUTION: The load carrying woven fabric 14 is directly attached to a carrier 16. A visible port 18 is formed in a frame 12 for permitting visual examination of the joint between the carrier and the load carrying woven fabric after the carrier and the woven fabric are attached to the frame. The method of manufacturing the carrier for the load carrying woven fabric assembly comprises a step for mounting the woven fabric on the inner side of a mold while at least part of the woven fabric is directly engaged with the surface of the mold, a step for forming the carrier by injecting melting thermoplastics with higher melting point than the woven fabric into the mold, and a step for permitting direct molding of the carrier on the woven fabric by hardening the melting thermoplastics. The woven fabric is positioned so that the woven fabric is energized on the surface of the mold cavity as the melting thermoplastics penetrate into the mold.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance. SOLUTION: A method for producing a structure 1 is composed of a film- shaped member 2 such as a mesh, a film, a cloth, and a nonwoven fabric, and a frame-shaped support member 3 of a synthetic resin which holds the periphery of the member 2. In a mold for insert-molding the member 3 with the use of the member 2 as a core material, with tension applied to make the member 2 display elasticity necessary as the structure 1, the member 2 is not contacted, or point-contacted or line-contacted with a mold surface which forms the cavity 6 of the mold. The peripheral side part 2a of the member 2 is arranged to pass through the fringe part 3c of the support member 3, the synthetic resin is injected into the cavity 6 of the mold and cured to mold the support member 3 and simultaneously integrated with the member 2, and the member 2 protruded from the periphery of the support member 3 is cut off.

100 FIXING STRUCTURE FOR SKIN AND VEHICLE SEAT EP15836803.5 2015-05-11 EP3114967A1 2017-01-11 ITO, Yasuyuki

Provided is an inexpensive fixing structure for a surface skin, an operation by which is simple. A fixing structure for a surface skin, the fixing structure being used for fixing to a core 17 a surface skin 14 having an opening 22, wherein the surface skin 14 in at least the portion in which the opening 22 is formed is formed of a soft material, the opening 22 is formed by an edge part 14c of the surface skin 14, a groove 20 is formed in the core 17, and the surface skin 14 is fixed to the core 17 by the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 being inserted into the groove 20. Since the surface skin 14 is fixed to the core 17 merely by inserting the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 into the groove 20 in the core 17, a simple operation is realized. Since there is no need to provide the edge part 14c of the surface skin 14 with an attachment device, the fixing structure for the surface skin 14 is inexpensive.
