Follow-up performance to respiratory movements is made higher than that of the prior art without obstructing movements of the pelvis of a person. A configuration is adopted that a cushioning member arrangement frame for a seat back 34, 140 and a cushioning member arrangement frame for a seat cushion are displaced according to load fluctuation to a cushioning member for a seat back 40, 150 or a cushioning member for a seat cushion 20. That is, such a configuration is adopted that the cushioning member arrangement frame for a seat back 34, 140 or the cushioning member for a seat cushion 20 not only moves according to load fluctuation but also frames themselves supporting them move via tension structure members spread over the frames (a cushioning member for a seat back and a cushioning member for a seat cushion). Accordingly, when a person lays his/her pelvis at his/her sitting position for deep breathing, the cushioning member arrangement frame for a seat back is displaced to push the vicinity of an upper portion of the cushioning member for a seat back, so that the vicinity of a lower portion of the cushioning member for a seat back is pushed forward to enrich support of the sacrum of the person.
10 Two-abreast passenger seat US748867 1985-06-26 US4632452A 1986-12-30 Ignaz Vogel
A passenger seat constructed of rectangular tube sections, which is stiffened by a beam disposed at the intersection of the seat backs with the seat, which beam consists of a rear frame piece connected to the rear frame structure and having upwardly pointing joint supports, which in turn are firmly located by stiffening rods. The lower ends of the seat back side frame members are reinforced by stiffening members mounted to their front side and at the same time forming lugs for pivotally supporting the seat backs on the joint supports, so as to provide for lowest possible weight together with the necessary strength.

In order to improve vibration absorbency and impact absorbency, the seat structure includes a swing member provided in a manner to be able to swing at least back and forth on a rear frame member positioned around the rear of a seat cushion, a pelvis supporting member connected to the swing member at the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member and disposed behind the pelvis of a seated person, and coil springs as an elastic member to support the pelvis supporting member biasing in the direction pushing forwards in a normal seating state. Accordingly, vibration inputted from the seat back side and as if patting on the back of the human body can be absorbed by the pelvis supporting member supported elastically. Besides, since the pelvis supporting member is connected to the rear frame member via the swing member, since pivoting movement in the back-and-forth direction of the pelvis supporting member is performed with a connecting portion of the swing member and the rear frame member as the center, and the radius of gyration is large, the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member never presses the pelvis.

A seat connector which connects a vehicle seat with a base support, and method of connecting the same. The set connector has a base interface which connects to the base support, and a seat interface which connects to the vehicle seat. Both interfaces cooperate together by having the seat interface slide along the base interface. Both during and before this sliding engagement, the weight of the seat interface and the attached seat are supported by the base interface and other weight supports. Upon completing the sliding engagement, the vehicle seat is temporarily in a locked position where movement of the vehicle seat in all directions relative to the base support is restrained, even without the use of mechanical fasteners to secure the connection. The vehicle seat is then secured to the base support with mechanical fasteners. The vehicle seat can be removed from the base support by sliding the vehicle seat in a rearward direction along the base interface.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure capable of improving vibration absorption and shock absorption.
SOLUTION: In the seat structure, a rear frame member 33 positioned near the rear part of a seat cushion 30 is provided with: a swinging member 40 provided in a manner of being swingable at least forward and backward; a pelvis supporting member 50 arranged behind the pelvis part of a person taking the seat; and coil springs 60 and 61 as elastic members for supporting the pelvis supporting member 50 by biasing it in a direction of pushing out forward in a normal state. Consequently, vibration which is inputted from the side of a seat back and which is like hitting the back of a human body is absorbed by the elastically supported pelvis supporting member 50. In addition, since the pelvis supporting member 50 is connected with the rear frame member 33 via the swinging member 40, forward and backward turning of the pelvis supporting member 50 is performed with the connecting part of the swinging member 40 and the rear frame member 33 as a center and a rotation radius is large. Thus, the vicinity of the lower part of the pelvis supporting member 50 never presses the pelvis.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

One example of a sliding device for a vehicle seat that can reduce false detection by a sensor is disclosed. The sliding device includes a fixed rail fixed to a vehicle; a movable rail, to which the vehicle seat is directly or indirectly fixed, that is slidable relative to the fixed rail; a mounting bracket having a fixed portion directly or indirectly fixed to the movable rail, and an extending portion extending from the fixed portion to a front side of the seat; a sensor fixed to the mounting bracket and displaced with the movable rail to detect a position of the movable rail; and a restrictor located closer to the front side of the seat than the fixed portion is. The restrictor restricts a displacement of the sensor by contacting the mounting bracket or the sensor when the extending portion is displaced in excess of a predefined extent.
