A pneumatic tyre comprises a radially inner bead core (9A) disposed in at least one of bead portions (4), a radially outer bead core (9B) disposed radially outside the inner bead core (9A), a buffer rubber layer (10) disposed between the radially inner bead core (9A) and radially outer bead core (9B) to provide a predetermined space therebetween, and a toroidal carcass (6) extending between the bead portions through the tread portion and sidewall portions, wherein the carcass comprises a ply of cords turned up around the radially outer bead core (9B) to be secured thereto, passing between the radially outer bead core (9B) and the buffer rubber layer (10), so that a radially outward tension of the carcass caused by tyre inflation acts less on the radially inner bead core (9A) than the radially outer bead core (9B). Therefore, the transmission of vibration from the tread portion to bead portion is effectively decreased to reduce road noise. |

In the invention, a run-flat tire including a pair of bead portions having an annular first bead, sidewall portions respectively extending to an outer side in a tire diametrical direction from the bead portions, reinforcing rubber layers arranged in the sidewall portions, a tread portion connecting outer peripheral side ends of the sidewall portions via shoulder portions, wherein the run-flat tire includes an annular inflating portion provided at the outside in a tire width direction of the bead portion arranged at the outside of the vehicle, and having an inner circumferential side face opposing to an outer circumferential curved side face of a rim flange when a regular rim is fixed; and an annular second bead arranged at the annular inflating portion, wherein the reinforcing rubber layer arranged at the outside of the vehicle has a rubber hardness of 60 to 82 degree, the reinforcing rubber layer arranged at the inside of the vehicle has a rubber hardness of 65 to 90 degree, and the reinforcing rubber layer arranged at the inside of the vehicle has the rubber hardness which is equal to or more than that at the outside of the vehicle, and has a maximum thickness which is larger than that at the outside of the vehicle by at least 0.5 mm. | ||||||

A body ply 9 is extended, turns around the bead core 2, returns from its inside to its outside wound upward and is arranged along the cord layer 8 so as to wrap the hard rubber 6 and the high rigidity reinforcing member 7 inside, and a rubber member 11 is arranged on the side of the internal periphery of the body ply 9, and a rigid stopper 12 is arranged between both the beads 3 of the run flat tire 1 so as to be adhered to a half-split rim 13 closely.
