| A wheel assembly for a wheeled vehicle utilizes interchangeable wheel hubs to secure various types of tires to provide better performance and maintenance on the vehicles. | The invention relates to a rail vehicle with several running wheels (20), of which at least one has a main body (19), made from a preferably metallic material, with a contact element (26, 27), on the outer circumference thereof, provided for a frictional contact with a rail (1), made from an elastic material, preferably from rubber.
