PURPOSE: To aim at the mass production and improvement of hardness in a rail wheel having the conjugate fiber structure by forming an inner core of plural hollow cassettes formed by integrating the foaming filling material with the conjugate fiber and having a width enlarged outside in the radial direction adjacent to each other so as to be directed to the periphery.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel disk 6 for connecting a wheel hub 4 of a wheel and a wheel tire 8 of the wheel and having the conjugate fiber structure is formed of coating layers 10.1, 10.2 and an inner core 12, and the coating layer 10.1, 10.2 are formed of a conjugate fiber layered product 14 integrally wound with a side surface of the inner core 12 and the outside surface thereof. This hollow cassette 22 has the foaming filling material 24 in a hollow space thereof, and has an outer shape web 28 of the conjugate fiber, an outer shape side wall 30 and web extension parts 32, 34, and formed into a shape having a width capable of being enlarged outside in the radial direction so as to be arranged adjacent to each other in the periphery of the wheel hub 4. With this structure, structural hardness is improved, and mass production is enabled.

The invention relates to a resilient, multi-component wheel for rail vehicles, comprising a rim (2) and hub (11) as well as an elastic element (6, 8) removably inserted between said rim and hub. Said elastic element (6, 8) is configured as a concentric, separate part consisting of a central disk (7), two larger outer disks (5, 9) and two elastomer rings (6, 8) positioned between said disks. Said elastomer rings (6, 8) are made of a plastic material or rubber, can have different shapes depending on the desired type of compressive stress or shear stress and are connected to the disks (5, 9) in a non-positive manner. |

A rubber-sprung wheel for rail vehicles includes a wheel tire which is connected to a wheel rim by a rubber insert that is formed by two flat rings that are arranged so as to be essentially vertical in relation to a wheel axle. The two flat rings are held, under considerable axial prestress, between an inner circumferential middle web of the wheel tire and two outer flanges of the wheel rim. At least one of the flanges is seated on the wheel rim with an interference fit that is designed as a conical press fit, such that a cone of the flange in a stress-free state has a lesser conicity than does a cone of the wheel rim, and in a pressed-on state rests on an entire surface against the cone of the wheel rim, at an even surface pressure across an entire width of the interference fit. |

The invention relates to a rubber-sprung rail wheel having a wheel tire (1), which has a peripherally-extending web (3) on the inner side (2) thereof, and a wheel rim (4) provided with two legs (6, 7) on the outer side (5) thereof, and two rubber rings (8, 9) that are arranged between the wheel tire (1) and the wheel rim (4). The rubber rings (8, 9) are arranged on both sides of the web (3) and are laterally delimited by the legs (6, 7). A first gap (12) is formed between the inner side (2) of the wheel tire (1) and the end edges (10, 11) of the legs (6, 7) and the rubber rings (8, 9) and a second gap (12) is formed between the outer side (5) of the wheel rim (4) and the end edges (13, 14) of the web (3) and the rubber rings (8, 9). The web (3) and the legs (6, 7) are configured in such a way that the rubber rings (8, 9) are inclined with respect to the central plane of the web (3). According to the invention, the rubber rings respectively have a conically expanded region on the inner diameter (14) and outer diameter (11), and a region having a constant wall thickness between the expanded regions. |

A wheel comprises a main body, a tread making a contact with a top face of the rail head of a rail, and a flange. At least at a portion of the wheel tread which is in contact with the rail, there is provided a tread-forming component formed of a ceramic-particle-dispersion reinforced aluminum composite material, which has ceramic particles mixed in an aluminum alloy. The tread-forming component is formed in a ring shape, fitted into a tread-forming component receiving portion and fixed to the main body by a fixing member. |
