| PURPOSE: A method for the mass culture of mushroom mycelium by inoculating mushroom mycelium into fruit or stem powder of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten and then culturing is provided. Therefore, the mushroom mycelium has functionality such as antioxidant effect, anti-aging effect and bronchial asthma-preventing effect or the like except for the original physiological effect of the mushroom mycelium. CONSTITUTION: About 0 to 50% by weight of water is added to fruit or stem powder of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten and sterilized at 120deg.C and 1.5atm for 20min. Then, 5%(v/v) of mushroom mycelium is inoculated into the powder of Opuntia ficus-indica and cultured at 25 to 30deg.C for 6 to 8 days. In the case of using freeze dried powder of Opuntia ficus-indica as culture medium, 5 to 10%(v/v) of water is added. | ||||||
