It is provided a game platform which includes a receiving board, a magnetic board fixedly hosting magnetic elements, and means for positioning of the magnetic board in a predetermined position. Each magnetic element has either a north polarity or a south polarity facing the receiving board. The receiving board receives a game card at a predetermined position. The game card has sites for receiving magnetic game pieces. The game pieces are distinguishable in accordance with their magnetic polarity by a non-magnetic distinctive feature, like color, shape, weight, scale, and external texture. For determining its position, the magnetic board has a far state and a close state relative to the receiving board, and a spacing mechanism switches between the far state and the close state. The receiving board and the magnetic board are positioned coaxially around a common axis, around which magnetic board is free to rotate. In six equally spaced rotational positions, the magnetic board is locked to a predetermined rotational position. The game card includes closed boundaries shaped for determining its position, site marks for the game pieces, a game content associated to the site marks, and an aligning mark for selecting a desired rotational position. |

This invention relates to a new material and a new method for changing the images on the faces of a magnetic cube or title. The Ferro-Sticker comprises a piece of paper with at least one image on one of its faces; wherein the paper has ferrous materials within it, or having size-reduced ferrous materials attached externally on one face of the paper; wherein the image being selected from an individual letter, a character, a word, a digit, a solid colour, a pictorial element, a drawing, a picture or a portion of a picture. A single zone of ferrous materials is positioned in the center of the paper, or a plurality of zones of ferrous materials arranged in a symmetrical configuration, and may be used as a changeable outer-covering attached on the face of a magnetic cube or tile; it may be used as a playing piece to be put on a magnetic game board as well. A magnetic board with the larger size Ferro-Sticker(s) may be used to make a versatile game board that the player can hang on the wall to play different games. |

An insert (22) has a bottom (24) with sides (26) and a contoured top (28) formed with semi-spherical concave valleys (32) positioned in rows and columns. The insert is fabricated of a resilient non-magnetically-responsive material. A plurality of magnets (34) have faces (36) (38) defining a thickness and a periphery (40). The peripheries of the magnets have various geometric shapes. |

A pattern made from a magnetizable material (1) is placed below a board. A playing piece (6) contains a magnet (4), which interacts with the magnetic material (1). If placed on special fields on the board, the playing piece slides away and stops (7) near the centre of another field on the board. The special fields are predetermined by the hidden magnetic pattern. The movement of the playing piece along the surface of the board of the board game comes as a surprise until the player memorizes all possible configurations of special fields for a fixed magnetic pattern. The pattern made from the magnetizable material can be varied before the beginning of each game. The disruption of the game caused by the movement of the playing piece to another field of the board of the board game introduces an extra degree of chance to the game of skill. |
