PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practice and exercise device improving a golf swing and developing the muscles used in the golf swing. SOLUTION: This golf practice and exercise device comprises a large, resilient, hollow ball, of a size between that of a softball and a basketball, preferably a soccer ball or a volleyball, having a vent that allows restricted exit of air upon the ball being struck by a golf club and allows air to re-enter the hollow interior upon reflexing of the ball after being struck by the golf club. The ball may be combined with a target assembly that serves to return the ball to the striking position at which it has been struck. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practicing stand that enables economical and effective practice for hitting balls properly. <P>SOLUTION: A frame 1 created by assembling a pair of front poles 11a, a pair of back poles 11b, a front grounding span 14a, a back grounding span 14b, a pair of ceiling members 13, a bottom horizontal member 15, and a top horizontal member 12 is covered by a safety net 2 and a net frame 7 is installed inside the back side of the ceiling board 23. A shade frame 13c is installed on the ceiling member 13 by sticking a reinforcing frame 4 into a connecting fixture. A bottom plate 24 of the safety net 2 is inclined toward the front side and a ball collecting part 25 that can freely adjust the slope, the width and the position of the goal is installed on the end part of the bottom plate 24 of the safety net 2. A flat target 5 with a number of targets 51, each with different colors, and/or a perforated target 5a perforated with a number of target holes 53, each with different colors, and with a ball pocket 54 are/is to be attached to a Velcro(R) fastener 62 of a ball blocking net 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
84 Golf practice system JP2001383848 2001-12-18 JP2002219203A 2002-08-06 SHIOTA YOSHIHIKO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a golf swing, and train the muscles. SOLUTION: This golf practice and exercise system has a practice balls and a target device. The practice ball is made of a soft material, and formed into a general spherical shape having the inner pressure nearly equal to the atmospheric pressure, for example, a ball for football which is not expanded, is used. Weight of the practice ball is enough to train the muscles, but the weight is limited so that a golfer concludes a follow through of the golf swing. The target device has an energy absorbing surface fitted to a hard frame held at the predetermined place by the frame support structure. The target device has a flat surface made of a hard material. A practice golf club has a practically oversize club head having a peripheral edge formed with a large opening through the club head. Weight of the club head can be selectively increased, and a grip of the club has annular projections and recessed parts each other.
85 Ball game training tool JP9184198 1998-04-03 JPH11285553A 1999-10-19 KITA SHIGERU
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make realizable a hit ball in a flying state similar to actual play without making the whole device of a large scale. SOLUTION: The tool is provided with a ball B and a training tool main body 1 suspending this ball B and regulating the flying range of the ball B. The main body 1 is provided with a frame 3 capable of suspending the ball B at a prescribed position through an elastic body 2 and a supporter 4 supporting this frame 3. The body 2 is constituted of a frame connecting part 2a extended along the frame 3 and fixed to the frame 3 and a ball connection part 2b for suspending the ball B. The part 2a of the body 2 fixed to the frame 3 is folded back by a pair of fold-back parts 18 and 26 provided with a rotatable fold-back mechanism.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practice device which varies attenuation of the kinetic energy of a colliding golf ball according to points on a colliding plate where the ball collides and which allows the point and/or speed of collision to be inferred inversely from the subsequent fall of the golf ball. SOLUTION: This golf practice device has a bent, curved, or rectilinear support 10 made of a steel pipe, with two locking parts 18, 22 formed on the support to lock a wire 20 at the locking parts. An object 26 in the form of a golf ball is guided on the wire 20 by a flexible hanger 28. A colliding plate 36 is located on the wire 20 and adjacent the upper locking part 22. The support 10 forms a complete tense thread along with the wire 20, and when the object 26 collides against the colliding plate 36 the tense thread causes wire vibration, the amplitude of which depends for its magnitude and direction on the point of collision of the object on the colliding plate 36. Vibration of the wire 20 determines the kind of motion of the shot object 26 during the motion of the object to return to the first locking part 18, and the user can make an inverse inference on the kind of his golf shot.
88 Golf training kit JP21799893 1993-08-09 JPH06178838A 1994-06-28 ANTONIO AARU BORANOSU
PURPOSE: To provide a golf training kit to exercise using clubs other than putter. CONSTITUTION: Slope 23 is to include an upward curve part and a target slope 50 going upward far away from the tee area on which stands a user. The target slope 50 has a lower target area to use a wood there, central target area of the slope 23 to use long irons (2-6) and an upper target area to exercise using short irons (7-9). The slope 23 has an upward curve part ending up in a trough curving inside to have an arch more than 360 degrees and slanting sideways. A ball hitting anywhere on the target area is brought to the top arch of the slope 23 in proportion to its speed, its kinetic energy wasted there, then dropped to the trough slanting sideways, which feeds the ball onto a ball return duct 61 with its gravity as far as it is received in a container. The slope 23 is supported with circular frames easy to assemble and dismantle and installed safety screens 24 on both sides. COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
89 Hole in one detector JP6656393 1993-03-25 JPH0639072A 1994-02-15 DABITSUDO NIKORUZU; GUREN DABITSUDO PIUERU
PURPOSE: To provide a hole-in-one detector which can detect the existence of a golf ball in a cup with a flag stick being inserted into the cup by plural photoemitters and photodetectors installed in the cup with such a detection range that reflected light can be securely sensed by any of these photodetectors without regard to the position of the ball inside the cup. CONSTITUTION: Interrupter supported by the tubular bottom part 2 of a flag stick 1 have infrared ray emitters 5 and photodetectors 5a, and rays emitted from the emitters 5 pass through openings 6 of the tubular part 2. The openings 6 are formed with 90 deg. intervals around the tubular part 2 so that four photoemitters 5 and detectors 5a can cover all the four quadrants as the detection range. When a golf ball G enters a cup C, infrared rays emitted from one of the emitters 5 are hit on the surface of the golf ball and reflected, and the corresponding photodetector 5a detects the reflected light. Then the existence of the golf ball G in the cup C is detected and is displayed by LEDs 7.
