PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infant caring apparatus that has a mechanism to open and close the door of a heater automatically. SOLUTION: An infant caring apparatus 10 consists of an infant stand 14 to let an infant lie asleep, a vertical part 32 that extends upward from the stand, and a housing that is attached to the vertical part and that cases a heater 60 which can move near the stand between the lower and upper positions along the vertical part 32. The heater 60 has at least one door 38 that can move between the releasing position at which the heater is exposed and another releasing position at which the heater is sheltered in the housing. The infant caring apparatus also has a door moving mechanism 102 that releases the door when the heater 60 moves from the lower position toward the upper position and shutters the door when the heater 60 moves from the upper position to the lower position. |

An electric toilet of the kind which presents a vertical shaft which, by means of a heat-insulating plate or the like capable of being inserted between both chambers can be divided into a lower compartment, the combustion chamber, containing an electric heat source and a grid, and into an upper compartment, the seat cone compartment housing a seat cone extending downwardly below the toilet seat, the bottom and sidewalls of the combustion compartment being heat insulated by a suitable insulating material and the combustion compartment or chamber communicating with an upright exhaust gas flue and further presenting a removable ash box, in which the external insulation of the combustion chamber of the electric toilet is at least partly shielded by columns of air which, for the purpose of creating conditions for a sufficiently good cooling of exposed parts by natural draught and for preheating air supplied to the combustion chamber, communicate freely at their bottom ends with the ambient air and open at their top ends into the seat cone compartment and via the latter, in the operative position of the plate, communicate with the combustion chamber through apertures, spaces or the like having a limited flow area as compared with said flue and preferably arranged either in the plate or in the wall of the combustion chamber or formed between the plate and the latter. |

A thermal printing head comprising a plurality of thin insulating layers each being provided on one surface thereof with a plurality of lower slips made of an electrically conductive material arranged in spaced parallel relation to one another. The insulating layers are piled stepwise one upon another so that one end portion of the upper surface of each of the layers with the corresponding end portions of the conductive slips thereon are exposed from beneath the end of the layer immediately above. A square element made of an electrically resistive material is placed on each of the exposed end portions of the lower conductive slips. An upper slip made of an electrically conductive material extending transversely of the exposed ends of the lower conductive slips on each of the insulating layers covers the resistive elements so that the elements are sandwiched between the upper and lower conductive slips. Upon impression of a voltage between the upper and lower conductive slips, the resistive elements sandwiched therebetween are heated. By selecting the lower conductive slips between which and the upper conductive slip a voltage is to be impressed it is possible to heat those of the resistive elements which are combined to take the shape of a symbol, and with a sheet of heat-sensitive paper being applied onto the surface of the printing head, the symbol is printed on the paper. |
