Both ends (32 and 33) of the tubular body 30 are connected and fixed to adjacent parts 22a and 23a of the shaft parts 22 and 23 on both the sides of the thin-walled shaft portion 21, respectively. Compression stress is give to a surface 32 of the bottom part of the groove 24 by shot peening, etc. Consequently, mud moves around a drill string, and it is possible to improve a stirring effect and to extensively improve efficiency of drilling work.
