PURPOSE: To minimize the disturbance of a speed waveform caused by the tortional rigidity of a driving system by a method wherein the respective speeds of two motors are detected and the average value of the speeds of the two motors is calculated and the average speed signal is used as a speed feedback signal.
CONSTITUTION: The speeds of a CCW driving motor 11 and a CW driving motor 13 which are detected by speed detectors 12-1 and 12-2 are inputted to an average speed calculator 22. The average speed calculator 22 figures out the sum of the speeds of the two motors 11 and 13 and halves the sum to obtain the average value of the speeds of the motors 11 and 13. An average speed signal Vm obtained by the average speed calculator 22 is fed-back to a speed amplifier 18 and compared with a target speed and a deviation between the average speed and the target speed is outputted from the speed amplifier 18. The speed deviation is inputted to polarity discriminators 19-1 and 19-2 and the polarity of the speed deviation supplied by the speed amplifier 18 is discriminated and transmitted to the control systems of the CCW driving motor 11 and the CW driving motor 13.

PURPOSE:To obtain a prime mover power transmitter which can convert the rotating direction of a load without varying the rotating direction of a prime mover by coupling a normal rotating connection in a delta-connection and a reverse rotating connection in a star-connection. CONSTITUTION:One rotor 2 of an electromagnetic joint 1 is driven by a motor 4. The other rotor 3 is coupled through a gear 8 with the rotor of a motor 7, and also with a load 11. An exciting current is supplied through a slip ring 5 to the exciting winding provided on the rotor 2. An armature winding provided in the rotor 3 and the armature winding of the motor 7 are connected through a switching unit 12. The unit 12 is coupled in a delta-connection in the armature winding of the motor 7 when the rotating directions of the motor 7 and the prime mover 4 are the same and in a star-connection when the rotating directions of the motor 7 and the prime mover 4 are reverse to each other. |

PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus having small size and high power transmitting efficiency by coupling the shaft of the prime mover with the shaft of a load through an electromagnetic joint, coupling the shaft of the load with a rotary shaft of a motor through a gear unit to connected the motor with the armature winding of the joint. CONSTITUTION:The prime mover 5 is connected to one rotor 2 of an electromagnetic joint 28, and the other rotor 1 of the joint 28 is connected to the rotor of a motor 7 through the gear unit 8 and also to the load 6 mechaniscally. Further, the armature winding provided at the rotor 1 of the joint 28 is connected to the armature winding of the motor 7 through conductors 14 to so array as to drive the load 6 via the electric power received from the joint 28 by the motor 7. |

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of brushes and slip rings of a driver, by enabling the forward and reverse rotation of a load while rotating a prime mover in a fixed direction.
CONSTITUTION: An armature 10 is provided in one rotor 4 of an electro-magnetic joint 2 having two facing rotors 3, 4 which rotate relatively to each other. The rotor 4 is mechanically coupled to the rotor 7 of a wound-rotor induction motor 5 to drive the load 9. The rotor 3 is driven by the prime mover 1. Windings 11 provided on the rotor 7 are connected to the armature 10. The rotor windings 11 and armature windings 12 of the motor 5 are connected to each other through frequency converters 17∼19. When a contactor 22 is opened and another 23 is closed, the wound-rotor induction motor 5 is run with a secondary circuit closed. When the contactors 22, 23 are opened and another 24 is closed, the armature windings 12 are energized by a DC power source 16 and the motor is run as a synchronous one. The number of brushes and slip rings of the driver is thus reduced.
