PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-infrared dry-distillation carbonizing apparatus for recycling, capable of converting a self-sustainedly combustible solid resource into a useful carbonized material without burning the resource.
SOLUTION: This carbonizing apparatus has a tilted furnace 3 covered with a flat furnace bed 1 and a ceiling wall, and an exothermic combustion furnace 5 installed in the back lower part of the furnace bed 1, and they are connected by a flame-passing opening 4. The structures are constituted of a mixed material of an ore powder (silica black) having a far infrared-radiating function, and a castable refractory. A chimney 11 having a strong sucking power is installed in the upper ceiling wall of the tilted furnace, and a chimney flow-branching device 12 having a free dumper installed in the interior is installed in the base part thereof. The flue divided from the flow-dividing part is extended downward along the outside of the ceiling wall, and the direction is changed so that the flue may be introduced into the furnace. The direction of the introduced flue is changed again so as to be parallel to the furnace bed, and the flue is opened upward. A blower 14 is installed in the midway of the flue at the exterior of the furnace. A material-feeding device 16 is installed in the upper end of the furnace, and an air washer device 17 is installed in the lower end of the furnace.

A char making apparatus comprises a longitudinal pyrolyzer furnace housing wherein coal-bearing material may be heated to a temperature to fluidize volatile materials therein and plasticize coal in the coal-bearing material. At least two rotatable drive screws are laterally positioned and interleaved within the longitudinal furnace housing and capable of conveying coal-bearing materials through the pyrolyzer furnace housing, each drive screw having a hollow drive shaft and a diverter positioned within the drive shaft to provide heating to the coal-bearing material. A heating jacket about the longitudinal furnace housing provides additional heating to the coal-bearing material. Multiple combustion chambers adjacent the heating jacket and hollow drive shaft burn fluidized volatile materials and exhaust combustion fluids through the jacket and shaft. |
