The pump 7 is then started in the normal direction to feed the hot water from the pipes 10, 13, and 12 and a flexible pipe 24 to a communicating chamber 21 of a bottomed frame A, passed through a treating chamber 23 comprising a plurality of small containers each containing a soybean milk therein, and a communicating chamber 22 into the lower frame A one by one to coagulate the soybean milk in the containers. The hot water is then circulated through a trough part 8a of a receiver frame 8, circulating pipe 25 for hot and cold water, hot water pipe 26 and the tank 1. A valve 10a is then closed to open a valve 11a, and cold water in a tank 2 is circulated through an outlet pipe 11, the pipes 13, 12 and 24, the frame A, a cold water pipe 27 and the tank 2. The bean curd in the treating chamber 23 is cooled for about 30min.
