The water treated in the anaerobic bioreactor 21 subsequently flows in an aerobic bioreactor 23 and air 4a is diffused in the reactor 23 to treat water under an aerobic condition. Then, the water is subjected to purifying treatment by an aerobic fixed bed 22. Subsequently, secondary treated water 7 passes through a sand filter tank 8 to be discharged as tertiary treated water. By this method, installation cost is reduced and high water quality is obtained.
