CONSTITUTION: Coal charged in a coal hopper 2 is fed to a dry preheater 4 through a feeder 3, and preheated at about 200°C with hot air generated from a furnace 1. The preheated coal is collected with multi-cyclones 5,5, transferred through a hopper 6, feeder 3A, and a conveyor 7 to a coal mixer 8, and charged in a container 9 for preheated coal. Dust-containing gas sucked from the multicyclones 5,5 with a blower 10, is transferred to a dry dust-collector 11 and a wet dust-collector 12. Fine powder of coal collected with the dry dust-collector 11 is supplied to the coal mixer 8, mixed with the preheated coal, and charged into a coke oven.
