CONSTITUTION: A photo probe 8 is disposed in the vicinity of each injection nozzle 2, and a photo scanner 10 is connected to the photo probe 8 through an optical fiber 9. Detected light of the photo probe 8 is orderly guided to a spectroscope 11, light is divided into a given wavelength by the spectroscope 11, and the intensity of light of each wavelength is converted into an electric signal by means of a photoelectric converter 12. An electric signal is converted into a digital amount through an amplifier 13 by means of an analogue digital converter 14 and the digital amount is inputted to a calculator 17 of a control part 16. The calculator 17 detects the ignition state of flame from the intensity of light of each wavelength at a current point of time and a power spectrum on data measured by a measuring system 15, and by referring to a known table, an ignition delay is grasped. A vane connection part 18 connected to a vane drive device 6 is connected to the output part of the calculator 17, and the opening of a resistor vane 4 is regulated by means of a vane control part 18.
