Console message output control system

CONSTITUTION: A T&D monitor (test program control monitor) 21 is loaded in an MMU (main storage device) 2 from an MTU (magnetic tape device) 12 by the boot loading function of a CPU (central processor) 2. Then, the control is passed to the initial setting program of the T&D monitor 21 and various initial settings are made. A line counter that a console output control program uses is initialized at this point of time. Thus the initial setting operation is completed and then the T&D monitor 21 passes the control to the console output control program 3 so as to output a message of the start-up completion of the T&D monitor 21 to the console 11 by two lines. Consequently, a series of messages are prevented from disappearing before an operator confirms them.
