CONSTITUTION: A decoy 4 is set near a radar apparatus 1. When the apparatus 1 detects that an electromagnetic wave forming missile 5 flies toward the apparatus itself, it sends the position and the speed of the missile 5 to a computer 2 for decoy control. The computer 2 raises the decoy 4 near the apparatus 1 in the sky by a decoy raising apparatus 3 while keeping the connection of the decoy with ground. Base on the data of the position and the speed of the missile 5, the computer 2 also computes the timing that the missile 5 approaches to the position at which it is expected to receive the decoy electromagnetic wave and at that timing. it sends signals of transmission off of the apparatus 1 and transmission on of the decoy 4. As a result, being sufficiently apart in the sky even near the apparatus 1, the decoy 4 sending signals transmitted from the apparatus l guides the missile 5 and the apparatus 1 can avoid the attack almost completely.
