When the information is the one instructing the execution of the the rounding process, a prescribed summing-up process is performed by automatically rounding the amount data. On the other hand, when the information does not instruct the execution of the rounding process, no rounding process is performed in the summing-up process. Therefore, this electronic cashless register can cope with such operation that the necessity of the rounding process is to be discriminated depending upon the method of payment.
