| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To enable a wide-body container to engage with supports for standard width container by movably mounting a plurality of adapters on a plurality of supporting points on the bottom plane of a wide-body container. CONSTITUTION: To make it possible to connect a wide-body container 10 to a container support 40 separated at the standard width D, four adapters 50 are provided. Each vertical support pillar 18 of the container 10 has an outer face 17 nearly on the same plane as an outer face 34 of a connecting member 20. The adapter 50 is located at working position below the connecting member 20 and connected to this through connecting mechanism 64, 68, 70 and 72. The adapter 50 fits square portion formed by upright walls 42 and 44 of the container support 40. Twist locks 80 and 82 fix the adapter 50 in the container support 40 fixed to a surface S thereunder. The wide-body container with outer faces that roughly agree with the outer face 17 of the support pillar and the outer face 34 of the connecting member can be well engaged in connecting members of the standard width D formed by upright walls or inner circumferential face of a flange 42.
