Bekannte Nebelsätze, wie sie bisher bei militärischen Übungen und Einsätzen verwendet werden, sind toxisch und beeinträchtigen zudem das Pflanzenwachstum. Ein nebelerzeugender Brandsatz auf der Basis eines nitrathaltigen Oxidationsmittels und befeuchteten Kohlenstoffkörnern, welche das Oxidationsmittel polar binden, ist umweltverträglich, selbst dann, wenn dieser unvollständig oder gar nicht verbrennt. Das Herstellungsverfahren für diese Art Nebelsätze beruht auf der getrennten Aufbereitung des Oxidations- und des Reduktionsmittels sowie auf deren gemeinsamen Mischen und Verpressen zu Pellets. Eine bevorzugte Verwendung der Nebelsätze ist in Munitionskörpern mit Schleuderladungen zu sehen. |

Die vorliegende Erfindung verbessert Nebel, die Strahlen im Wellenlängenbereich von 3 bis 14µm, insbesondere in den Bereichen 3 bis 5 µm und 8 bis 14 µm (optronisch) absorbieren, d.h. Objekte vor IR- oder Radardetektoren verbergen. Diese Verbesserung gelingt durch das Suspendieren eines Sekundärnebels in einem ersten Nebel, welcher mit Hilfe von Halogendonatoren, Metallpulvern und/oder Oxiden oder auf Basis von rotem Phosphor erzeugt wird. Der Sekundärnebel besteht aus organischen oder anorganischen Säuren oder deren bestimmten Salzen, oder auch aus organischen Estern anorganischer Säuren, sowie Mikroballons oder Kunststoffteilchen. Letztere bewirken mit dem Primärnebel einen synergistischen Effekt, neben der Deckungswirkung werden auch andere physikalische Eigenschaften wie Schwebe-und Haftfähigkeit verbessert. Außerdem werden Sätze zum Ausbringen dieser Nebel beschrieben. |
