65 Porous particulate cement and its production JP2923196 1996-02-16 JPH09227183A 1997-09-02 TANAKA ISAO; SUZUKI NOBUO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new cement capable of improving the flowability of cement pastes, mortars or concretes and increasing the strengths of cement cured products. SOLUTION: A cement slurry is spray-dried to obtain a particulate cement comprising spherical porous particles. The cement slurry may be mixed with additives such as a high performance water-reducing agent, a high performance AE water-reducing agent and a coagulation-retarding agent and subsequently spray-dried. For example, a cement slurry containing 40-60wt.% of a cement is spray-dried in a 30-300°C gas to obtain the granulate cement comprising spherical porous particles having a particle diameter of 60-200μm. The obtained porous particulate cement may be impregnated with liquid additives, a heat storage substance (for preventing the heat generation of mass concrete), etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO

PURPOSE: To obtain a cement composition excellent in fluidity, kneadability and strength developability, and suppressed in temperature rise during cure with suppressed heat generation during hydration. CONSTITUTION: This cement composition comprises a total of 100 pts.wt. of 50-92 pts.wt. of high-belite-based Portland clement, 5-25 pts.wt. of silica fume and 3-25 pts.wt. of limestone fine powder. The high-belite-based Portland cement stands reduced to a minimum in the amounts of both alite and aluminate constituting clinker mineral composition in the cement in order to reduce the heat of hydration to a minimum so as to prevent the temperature rise of the resultant concrete structural body and also stands sufficiently increased in the amount of belite excellent in long-term strength developability. Owing to using the high-belite-based Portland cement, heat generation due to cement hydration can be suppressed to low levels; therefore, in the resultant thick-walled high- strength concrete structural body, temperature rise is small, crack development prevented, and strength developability improved. 67 Shrinkage reducing agent for cement and hydration heat reducing agent for cement JP22714592 1992-08-26 JPH0672748A 1994-03-15 NAKANO SHOICHI; KOYAMA NORIYUKI
PURPOSE:To provide a shrinkage reducing agent for cement and a heat-of- hydration reducing agent for cement excellent in handling property and addition effect. CONSTITUTION:The shrinkage reducing agent for cement and the heat-of- hydration reducing agent are made of neopentylglycol. Since neopentylglycol is solid at ordinary temp, it cam be powdered and mixed with cement or the like for use. And since neopentylglycol previously is soluble in water it can be used in aquous solution state, thus improving handling property. Extremely excellent shrinkage reducing effect and heat-of-hydration reducing effect are attained only by adding relatively small quantity of neopentylglycol.
