Apparatus and methods to attach an object to an overhead section of a cabin of an aircraft. An example apparatus includes a bracket to be positioned between rails in a cabin of an aircraft. The bracket includes edges having first attachment points to align with second attachment points of each of the rails. The bracket is positionable along a length of the rails by aligning the first attachment points of the bracket with a portion of the second attachment points of the rails. The bracket also includes flanges disposed between the edges. The flanges have respective third attachment points and fourth attachment points aligned to receive fasteners for hanging a device used in the cabin of the aircraft.

The aircraft further comprises an environmental control system comprising a conduit system through which a pressurized fluid is supplied, at least one first terminal disposed inside the compartment and in fluid communication with the conduit system, and a selectively inflatable and deflatable partition element. The partition element comprises at least one second terminal and is constructed such that it is inflatable from a deflated condition into an inflated condition by establishing a fluid communication between the second terminal and the first terminal. In the inflated condition the partition element completely closes the cross-section of the compartment, thereby dividing it into two portions, and in the deflated condition collapses and at least partially unblocks the cross section.

The access path extends from the cabin door to the longitudinal aisle to create an intersection region between the access path and the longitudinal aisle. The modular installation space is arranged directly forward of the seat rows. The access path extends at an angle of at least 100° to the longitudinal aisle in a forward direction.

The divider includes a transverse main framework extending on either side of the lateral walls, at least two guide blocks supported by the framework, and an adjustment feature. The length of the divider is adjustable to adapt to the distance, in the transverse direction, that separates said guide rails of said cabin.

The contoured class divider may include multiple panel portions that are coupled together and articulate relative to one another. The contoured class divider may include an articulation system to articulate the panel portions with respect to one another from a first position (normal operation) to a second position (emergency landing). The contoured class divider may provide up to an additional 12 inches of space which can be used to reduce seat pitch (and thereby enhance passenger comfort) or increase the number of rows of seats on a given aircraft.

All the magnets in a plurality of integrated magnetic slider assemblies are vertically aligned with respect to each other to cause a magnetic attraction between adjacent magnets in order to hold the plurality of pleats together, when the at least one hanging partition is in a retracted position.
