A side entry storage net useful for securing items in a storage area comprises an upper and lower front panel, a back panel, and two sides formed from a piece of netting folded at upper and lower folds. Edges of the folds are spaced apart to form an opening to allow items to be placed inside the net from the side. The storage net further includes a plurality of elastic cords that allow the storage net to be opened and to hold stored items in place without shifting. The storage net also includes means for attaching the net to a desired external surface, such as a storage area in a motor vehicle.

The development relates to a cargo net for a two-passenger vehicle that is designed to create a barrier between the vehicle's cargo boot and the passenger seating section. The net has a solid fabric edging with a mesh central portion. Fasteners secure the net to one wall of the boot; attachment devices secured to a flexible cord hold the net upright behind the passenger seats of the vehicle. An alternative embodiment of the cargo net includes a pocket that can extend essentially the entire length of the cargo net, allowing the user to store smaller articles within the pocket rather than in the cargo boot.

A car seat netting system has a pair of front posts each having a lower tube with an upper tube adjustably positioned about the lower tube. The tubes are positionable adjacent the front left corner and front right corner of the front right passenger seat of a vehicle. The left side edge of a front screen is secured to the upper left tube and the right edge is secured to the upper right tube. The front edge of a right screen is permanently secured to the upper right tube. The upper, front and rear edges of a left screen have an aligned row of snaps. A supplemental border in an inverted U-shaped configuration has a front edge permanently secured to the front left tube and a free top edge and rear edge with a plurality of aligned spaced snaps adapted to removably couple with the snaps of the left screen and a supplemental row of aligned snaps along the rear edge of the supplemental border. A plurality of straps have right ends permanently secured to the rear edge of the right screen. Snaps secured to the left ends of the straps are adapted to releasably couple to the supplemental row of snaps of the supplemental border.

One or more upwardly opening pocket arrangements on the side portion hold personal items (e.g., a beverage container, a pair of eye glasses, a mobile telephone, a pencil, a pen, a tape recorder, a calculator, a camera, a wallet). One forwardly opening pocket arrangement on the top portion holds a pad of paper and another holds business cards. The top portion of one embodiment includes a first leaf adapted to hold a laptop computer, a second leaf adapted to hold the pad of paper, and a third leaf that covers the pad of paper. An insulated auxiliary or companion box may be included to hold the accessory intermediate backseat passengers as a dummy armrest structure that also serves as a cooler.

A net type cargo storage system is for use within a motor vehicle having a trunk, a trunk opening periphery being formed from sheet metal, and a trunk seal extending thereabout. The storage system comprises an automotive storage net member having an in-use length, opposed upper side areas, a storage area for receiving cargo, and a mounting member disposed on each of the upper side areas. Two clips each comprise a body having a first end and a second end, the first end being formed in a U-shape mounted over the trunk opening periphery sheet metal and beneath the trunk seal. A mechanism is disposed on the body for lockingly engaging the clip to the trunk opening. An attachment member is disposed on the body second end and within the trunk, the attachment member being matingly and releasably engageable with the net member mounting member. The two clips are opposedly spaced at a distance accommodating mounting of the storage net member at its in-use length.

A second flexible elastomeric elongated strap is coupled to the first strap at selected locations but otherwise uncoupled to the first strap, and forms a plurality of elastomeric loops along the length of the first strap. Each loop defines a clearance of preselected dimensions between the first and second straps. A means is provided for releasably coupling the first and second ends of the first strap to the vehicle cab roof. The first and second carrier members are spaced apart a selected distance and positioned substantially parallel along the vehicle cab roof with the handle of each of the plurality of fishing rods disposed in one of the plurality of loops on one carrier member and with the tip of each of the plurality of fishing rods disposed in the corresponding loop in the opposite carrier member.

A plurality of hook and loop fasteners are used to secure the cargo net to the vehicle structure, which permit separation at selected points around its periphery for access to speciific cargo articles without having to detach the entire cargo net. In one embodiment, two D-rings are described to cooperate with two tension adjusting straps, formed of hook and loop fasteners, to adjust and vary the tension between the cargo net and the articles being restrained.

Two of the screws are removed, from opposite respective edges of the door, and the bracket is placed against the inside panel with the holes aligned with the screw holes in the door frame. The screws are inserted into the door frame through the respective holes in the mounting bracket.
