17 Noise shielding structure at speaker fixing position JP26867785 1985-11-29 JPS62128849A 1987-06-11 IWAMEJI NORIYUKI; ORIMO MOTOHIRO
PURPOSE:To improve the silence of the inside of a vehicle, by arranging a noise shielding chamber defined by noise shielding members in the rear of a speaker, thereby suppressing intrusion of noise from the outside of vehicle or such as a trunk room and preventing propagation of noise through the speaker to the inside of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A rear parcel 10 comprising a core section 10a employing a hardboard, a complex resin board, etc. as a base and a skin material 10b of non woven fabric is arranged between a rear seat 11 and a back door 12 so as to partition between a trunk room 13 and the inside of vehicle 14. Then, a speaker such as a car stereo is mounted in a symmetrical opening 15 while directing toward the inside of vehicle. In order to prevent propagation of noise from the trunk room 13 through the cone paper 16a of the speaker 16 to the inside of vehicle 14, a noise shielding chamber is deflined by the shielding members 17 in the rear of the speaker 16. With such arrangement, the noise from the trunk room 13 is prevented by the shielding members 17 from intrusion into the noise shielding chamber, thus it is reliably prevented to propagate noise through the cone paper 16a of the speaker 16 to the inside of vehicle 14.
