141 | Method of production of vibration absorbing metallic material | US862623 | 1977-12-20 | US4203195A | 1980-05-20 | Hideo Nakae; Toshinori Ozaki; Kazunori Nakane; Takashi Shimaguchi |
One or a plurality of layers of a metallic raw material in plate form and one or a plurality of layers of wire netting are placed one over another in vertically stacked relation and then subjected to rolling to produce vibration absorbing metallic material. The metallic material produced in this way exhibits an excellent vibration damping performance. | ||||||

143 | Forming of articles by rolling | US18533371 | 1971-09-30 | US3808863A | 1974-05-07 | MARCOVITCH J |
This invention relates to rolling elongated bars between a backed-up forming roller and die means. The die means is preferably formed by a pair of rollers which most conveniently roll T-section bar. The die means may alternatively be a long die. Containment means is provided to prevent the die means bursting outwardly during rolling.

144 | Method for treating materials | US3746071D | 1970-08-28 | US3746071A | 1973-07-17 | SCHEY J |
A method and apparatus is disclosed for forming materials into desired shapes by rolling or casting. The rolled shapes may be of constant or irregular cross section. The apparatus includes lateral restraint members that move with the workpiece to prevent edge cracking in rolling or provide a moving wall die in casting.

145 | High-pressure rolling of workpieces | US3643485D | 1969-12-15 | US3643485A | 1972-02-22 | MARCOVITCH JACOB |
A die for drawing tubular workpieces has its orifice defined by a ring of small rollers which are rotatable to work the workpieces around their circumference. Means may be present to straighten the tube and the die may include means to make the wall thickness of the workpiece uniform.
