18 Method and apparatus for continuously recovering paint waste JP2002274690 2002-09-20 JP2004105901A 2004-04-08 SONEHARA KUNIYA
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuously recovering paint wastes, by which the recovery efficiency of paint wastes can be enhanced, the running cost is reduced, a high-grade paint slag can be obtained, and the wastes can be used for manufacturing of the high-quality recycled items without giving any trouble to an apparatus for manufacturing recycled articles at all. SOLUTION: The booth circulating water containing paint particles discharged from a painting booth 1 is housed into a first separation vessel 6 where paint particles are subdivided, dispersed, and floated by addition of a dispersant and a floating agent thereto. A liquid containing the dispersed and floated paint particles is supplied to a second separation vessel 15 where the liquid is roughly separated to the paint slag and liquid-component. The liquid containing the coarsely separated paint slag is stored in a foreign substance separation vessel 17 where foreign substances are removed from the liquid. The paint slag is then separated and recovered from the liquid containing the paint slag. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
