Playground equipment may include a variety of different types of components. For example, the playground equipment may include a main structure and one or more components, such as a swing set, a climbing wall, a slide, monkey bars, picnic table, sandbox, a ladder and/or the like. The various components and structures of the playground equipment may be connected in a variety of suitable configurations and arrangements. Advantageously, if the playground equipment includes a climbing wall, the climbing wall may include one or more panels that are adjustably connected and constructed from blow-molded plastic. Additionally, if the playground equipment includes a picnic table, the picnic table top may have a surface that includes one or more generally planar portions and one or more generally offset portions. The offset portions may be sized and configured to be traced, for example, onto a sheet of paper to create a pleasing design.

A jungle gym joint has a joint main body including joint shafts to which pipes are connected and rotary members. The pipe is connected to one end and a folding portion is formed at the other end of the rotary member, the folding member being formed by a flat plate portion being held in a bifurcate portion together with the joint main body. A cover member including engaging projections on an inner circumferential surface is provided on an outer circumference of the folding portion. The cover member is guided to move back and forth in an axial direction by the engaging projections being brought into engagement with guide grooves. The folding portion is restricted from being folded with the cover member staying in an advanced end position while the restriction of folding thereof can be released with the cover member staying in a withdrawal end position. |

There is provided a system for providing interactivity to a guest of an experiential venue, based on sensor measurement of the guest. The system comprises a sensor configured to sense a guest variable of the guest, where the sensor may be a biometric sensor, a facial recognition sensor, a voice stress analysis sensor, a gesture recognition sensor, a motion tracking sensor, or an eye tracking sensor, and may sense heart rate or another guest variable. The system also comprises a control system, which may be implemented as a computer, in communication with the sensor. The control system is configured to determine a guest state from the guest variable, and to modify a venue variable, for example by selecting a path a theme park ride follows. The control system modifies the venue variable according to the guest state to provide increased satisfaction to the guest of the experiential venue.

The ride is capable of raising a rider to a height of ten meters or more above the ground, and then release the rider to swing. It includes a support structure (412), a support line (416b) secured to the support structure and to a rider. A launch structure (426) is spaced from the support structure (412) and carries a launch line (424a, 424b) designed to be releasably attached to a rider attachment (524b), so as to lift a rider from the ground. When the launch line (424a) is released from the attachment which carries the rider, the rider swings downwardly. A skysaucer embodiment (524a, 542b) features a conveying vehicle which holds multiple riders and is stopped by wheels (330) on a raised loading platform. In a pendulum damper embodiment, a passenger car is supported by a moving pivot point, the horizontal force is resisted by a parallelogram assembly supporting a horizontal support platform. |
