Three separate arrangements of modular playground assemblies may be constructed from identically shaped support members and one of three different crossbars. Playground equipment such as a platform member, a slide member and swing devices can be attached to the basic assemblies. The support member is preferably a unitary, molded plastic member, having openings therethrough to serve as steps and an access opening to accommodate climbing and other play by children using the assemblies. The basic components can be selectively combined into units for distribution and use in making one of the three assemblies.

A new structure for children's games. It comprises corner components (1) and side components (2) in which the means for the assembly thereof are integrated, formed by oblique extensions (5) of material having an alternate slope relative to the components (1) with the free edges thereof curved inwards in opposite directions to form longitudinal guideways in said components (1) for sliding and retaining rounded section edges (6) which extend along the vertical sides of the components (2), with which they are connected by thinner portions (20).

The structure is applicable to the assembly and dismantling of constructions for children's games, without the need of auxiliary tooling or independent connecting means for the components integrating the structure.

53 JUNGLE GYM JOINT EP16155602.2 2016-02-12 EP3061505A1 2016-08-31 Todokoro, Shinji

A jungle gym joint has a joint main body having joint shafts to which a plurality of pipes are connected and a rotary member having a short rod shape to one end side of which the pipe is connected. A folding portion is formed at a bifurcate portion of the rotary member where a flat plate portion of the joint main body is inserted thereinto, allowing the pipe to be folded. A cylindrical cover member is provided on an outer circumference of the folding portion. The cover member includes a restricting wall portion restricting the folding of the pipe by being brought into abutment with the flat plate portion or the bifurcate portion and a cutout portion formed by cutting out the circumferential wall to prevent the abutment of the circumferential wall with the flat plate portion or the bifurcate portion to thereby release the folding of the folding portion.

54 Plate-shaped playground components EP13165715.7 2013-04-29 EP2659942A2 2013-11-06 Donbæk, Tom; Johansen, Benno

59 Collapsible slide EP03380044.2 2003-02-27 EP1348472A1 2003-10-01 Rodriguez Ferre, Jose Manuel

COLLAPSIBLE SLIDE, made up of a set of exchangeable molded material parts amongst which are a grooved ramp (1) and an access platform (2), which are joined by groove and tongue means, with the ramp able to rotate, to parts (3) forming the handrail of said platform. These are extended underneath and backwards forming the sides (3a) of the slide ladder. The slide has two frames (4, 5) joined between the lower and upper zones of the sides (3a) of said ladder so that its bolsters form the ladder steps. At the same time, the end of a rotating double T part (6) is coupled between both frames constituting a central step of the ladder, whilst its other end is fastened by means of screw caps (9) to the lower intermediate zone of the ramp (1). This ensures assembling of the slide whilst the unscrewing of said screw caps permits folding of the double T part and the ramp on the ladder of the slide, facilitating its folding.

1. CHILD'S PLAYTHING, constituted by a set of plastic material parts assembled by means of nuts and screws of the same material, resulting in a considerably-sized doll able to be dismounted, in such a way that it has arms (1a) and hands (1b), joined together and extended in the shape of two side slides (1). The body of the doll is made up of front (3) and back (13) walls, joined together by two lateral crosspieces (12). Said front (3) and back (13) walls have some grooves (3a) and (13a) along them, suitably arranged to facilitate climbing to the top of said walls. Provision has been made to assemble an access platform (14) to the mentioned side slides (1) on top of said crosspieces (12), on which the head (15) of the doll is coupled. This is also attached to the front wall (3) by means of projecting lugs (15a) that project out of both sides of the corresponding neck of the doll (Figure 13).
