241 Path deciding device for flexible circuit JP2001311664 2001-10-09 JP2002196839A 2002-07-12 KOCH-OSBORNE ANDREW
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment capable of satisfactorily holding electric connection between two parts. SOLUTION: This portable electronic equipment is provided with relatively movable first and second parts. Electric connection between those parts is achieved by using a flexible electric connector. The path of the connector between the two parts is normalized by an obstacle so that the connector can forcedly follow a first path in the first arrangement, and that the connector can follow a second different path in the second arrangement.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to conductive member at the time of assembly or use of electrical machinery and apparatus. SOLUTION: This hinge connector 4 comprises a connector part of the side of a body being connected with a connector 5 of a computer body 2, a connector part of the side of an LCD being connected with FPC3 from CD1 and a conductive member combined with them. The conductive member comprises connection parts existing at both ends and a flexing part between the connection parts. A plurality of slit extending in the direction linking both connection parts are formed so as to be shrinkable in that direction.
245 Wiring device for revolute joint mechanism and robot JP1298899 1999-01-21 JP2000210888A 2000-08-02 NAGATSUKA MASAKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wiring by forming a recess along the axial direction of a rotary shaft on a part of an outer periphery of the rotary shaft used for a center of revolute joint, and wiring cables along the recess. SOLUTION: A central hole 17d of a radial bearing 17 has a diameter equal to or larger than a diameter of a rotary shaft 12. Thereby, the connectors 15, 16 at both ends of a cable 14 can easily be inserted into the central hole 17d. After the cable 14 is inserted into the radial bearing 17, the cable is easily inserted into a recess 13 formed on an outer periphery of a rotary shaft 12 for wiring. The cable 14 connected with both end connectors 15, 16 in advance can easily be wired along the recess 13 of the rotary shaft 12. Further, the cable 14 can be prevented from projecting from the recess 13 by press fitting an inner ring 17a of the radial bearing 17 to the outer periphery of the rotary shaft 12. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up conveniently a mobile communication device by connecting the portable telephone set to a portable information device. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set 100 consists of a telephone set main body 110 and a flipper 111. The telephone set main body 110 has a hinge 115 and a flipper connection plate 117. The flipper connection plate 117 is supported turnably by hinge modules 116a, 116b and has a connector 118 at its tip. The flipper 111 connects to the flipper connection plate 117 and has a cable container section 119, in which a short cable 120 with a connector is contained. The short cable 120 with the connector consists of a short cable 121 about 10 cm long, a connector 122 at one end of the cable 121, and a connector 123 at the other end. In the case of conducting mobile communication, the connector 123 is extracted from the flipper 111 and connects to a portable information device. COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible circuit element suitable for reducing the size of an electronic apparatus by minimizing the flexible width. SOLUTION: A flexible circuit element being laid between the upper and lower housings 102, 108 in an electronic apparatus, e.g. a wireless telephone, includes an end in a tab 2712 separated from the edge of a flex strip and oriented at some angle from the wiring direction of trace. Since the flex width is minimized, the flex can be laid through an opening of minimum size and the size of the electronic apparatus can be minimized. COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure connection of a direct coupler into an external connector when the direct coupler in a first device is to be connected to the external connector of a second device even if the direct coupler of the first device shifted from the external connector of the second device. SOLUTION: An external connector 9 mounted on a printed circuit board 2 of a steering device is comprised of a first moving base 11 to which flexible terminals 10 are secured, a second moving base 12 which guides the first moving base 11 in the X direction and a supporting base 13 which guides the second moving base 12 in the Y direction, such that the first and second moving bases 11 are movable in the X and Y directions with respect to the supporting base 13. To connect the external connector 9 as such formed to the fixed direct coupler or a rotary connector 1, if the position of the fixed direct coupler 6 is shifted from the external connector 9, the shift of relative position of the external connector 9 with the fixed direct coupler 6 may be absorbed by displacing the first and second moving base 11 of the external connector 9 in the X-Y directions with respect to the supporting base 13.

PURPOSE: To provide a rotary connector in which an elastic tongue piece stuck so as to prevent reverse buckling can be surely prevented from being peeled from a flexible cable. CONSTITUTION: A rotating plate 20 having a fixed cylinder 19 having a guide projection 19a and a reversing roller 21A set opposite to each other thereon is rotatably arranged within a ring housing space 14 partitioned between the outer cylinder part 6 of a first housing 1 and the inner cylinder part 13 of a second housing 2. A flexible cable 3 is wound in the reverse direction, the reversed part 3a is inserted between the fixed cylinder 19 and the reversing roller 21A, and an elastic tongue piece 17 in which the free end side part 17b of the top end is substantially linearly formed in non-load state is stuck to the inner surface of the flexible cable 3. Thus, the deformation of the free end side part can be minimized when it forms the reversed part, and the top end of the elastic tongue piece is hardly peeled from the flexible cable. PURPOSE:To present the electronic equipment device having satisfactory operability even when it is operated while being carried by hands or being put on a table by preventing a hinge part from being damaged by coupling a main body part and a keyboard part so as to be turned over 360 deg.. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate body 3 is interposed between a main body part 1 and a keyboard part 2 and they are mechanically coupled by two hinges 41 and 42 so as to be turned over 360 deg. and to improve operability. A flexible cable 6 to electrically connect the main body part 1 and the keyboard part 2 is bent to be U-shaped, the parallel parts of the flexible cable are arranged along the axial lines of the passed hinges, the orthogonal part is arranged at the intermediate part 3, and the flexible cable 6 is deformed by twisting or bending so as to deal with the turn of the hinge parts over the wide angle.
258 Adaptive heavy current conductor JP25754490 1990-09-28 JPH03205706A 1991-09-09 YOORUGEN REEGUSUTORUPU
PURPOSE: To provide a more adaptive heavy current conductor without providing a disadvantage by providing such a structure that metal element pieces are firmly combined by a material for enclosing and holding a part causing a deviation, but allowed to largely move by an elliptic hole while leaving the place for a bolt. CONSTITUTION: A bundle of metal element pieces 6 constituting a conductor 1 has elliptic holes 5 for fastening bolts on both ends, and semicircular slits 4 directly opposed to each other on both sides of the central position of the conductor. The essential part of the conductor 1 is enclosed by a thin film 2 contracted by the heat of an electrically insulating plastic. During the thermally contracting treatment, the thin film is penetrated into the slits 4 on both sides to firmly fix the copper metal element pieces 6 of the conductor 1 in the mutual relation. Thus, all layers are fixed, and the inside is also firmly and uniformly combined. Therefore, all deviations of the individual layers are uniformly caused in the vertical direction if the conductor is bent, whereby an adaptive heavy current conductor can be provided.
