15 Spot remains reducing method in cathode-ray tube JP34016396 1996-12-19 JPH10178558A 1998-06-30 MAKITA MINORU
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of a spot remain phenomenon that occurs when power is off by applying and feeding holding voltage to a 2nd grid elec trode while anode voltage falls to a prescribed voltage value when the main power is off. SOLUTION: In an off operation of a main power source, a holding voltage that is a voltage value or more which increases back raster luminance and is a cutoff voltage value or less is applied and fed to a 2nd grid electrode while anode voltage falls to a prescribed voltage value. For instance, a grid power source circuit of an electron gun 10 feeds grid voltage to the 2nd grid electrode 12 by turning on the main power source. Also, the grid voltage circuit feeds anode voltage HV to a 3rd grid electrode 13. A holding voltage supplying circuit whose time constant is larger than the grid power source circuit feeds holding voltage to the grid power source circuit until the grid voltage reaches 0V after the main power source is turned off. PURPOSE:To control accurately the drive of a hot cathode and to reduce greatly the power consumption, by connecting an end of a series circuit including a linear cathode and a diode at the middle point of each of push circuits forming two sets of transistor rows. CONSTITUTION:The vertical driving pulses are applied to the bases of transistors TR45a-45o and TR46a-46o, and the TR45a-45o and TR46a and 46o are cut off while the pulse is kept at a low level with conduction of TR44a-44o respectively. In this case, heat cathodes 2a-2o have positive potential, and no electron beam is produced. While the TR45a-45o and TR46a-46o conduct while the vertical driving pulse is kept at a high level; and the TR44a-44o are cut off since the collectors of TR46a-46o are set at a low level respectively. Thus a minus power supply -B2 is applied to linear cathodes 2a-2o via the TR45a- 45o, and diodes 43a-43o are cut off. In this case, the cathodes 2a-2o are set at a low potential during a pulse period. Then electron beams are generated with a uniform distribution.

PURPOSE:To stabilize the writing of low speed signals by controlling an amplifier with output pulses from a duty ratio controlling circuit and making the output to output pulse modulation outputs. CONSTITUTION:Input of a terminal 31 becomes ''0'', and output of an invertor 30 ''1'' when the sweep time reduces to, for example, less than 0.2msec./div. Accordingly a current is flowing to the emitter of a transistor 3 through a resistor 27 and diode 26. When, the dividing ratio of a counter 33 is set at 1/2, and pulses with period of 2musec. are applied to a monostable multivibrator 32. Accordingly the output from the vibrator 32 is a pulse series of ''1'' for 1musec. and ''0'' for 1musec. Thus a sufficiently small beam current can be obtained without setting the grid voltage near the curoff voltage by modulating a beam current with pulses.
