PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard having a thin film circuit board, a light-emitting key, a light-emitting element, and a plastic film.SOLUTION: The light-emitting key includes a key cap having a translucent part and is configured to conduct a thin film switch of the thin film circuit board. The light-emitting element is configured to generate a beam of light, and is arranged on the thin film circuit board and below the translucent part. Furthermore, the plastic film is arranged on the thin film circuit board, and includes a convex part which is integrally formed with the plastic film. The convex part covers the light-emitting element, and has an opening corresponding to the light-emitting element. According to the present invention, the yield in manufacturing steps of the keyboard can be improved and leakage of light in the light-emitting key can be suppressed.

SOLUTION: A housing 1 is joined to a surface panel 9 with the hinge portion 12 of the housing 1 aligned with an opening 91 in the panel 9. A key top 2 is attached to the housing 1 and the hinge portion 12 via the opening 91 in the panel 9. When pressing force is applied between the key top 2 and the hinge portion 12 relative to each other, the key top 2 cannot be disconnected upward from the housing 1 and the hinge portion 12.
