The facial shield member further has a nose protective portion (82) extending over and protecting substantially the wearer's entire nose from in front of and from above and preferably has side portions protecting the wearer's eyes in a direction from the sides of the wearer's head. The facial shield member transparent portion preferably substantially prevents ultraviolet solar radiation from reaching the wearer's eyes and facial features, such as the nose and cheeks, and also from reaching the eyes in a direction from the sides of the head. The facial protective wear also can be used to protect the wearer from the wind and from injury due to flying objects.
182 MEDICAL EYE SHIELD. EP88900961 1987-10-13 EP0326585A4 1990-01-11 RUSSELL JOHN PATRICK
A surgeon's eye shield comprising a thin transparent flexible member (12') having an upper flat edge (14'), a pair of spaced convex edges spaced apart forming a pair of spaced planar portions. The planar portions being joined by a narrowed webbed portion extending integrally between the planar portions. A flexible sealing member (24') extends along the flat edge of the flexible member and a second flexible sealing member (26') extends along the convex edges and a concave edge of the flexible member. An elongated band (32') connected between distal ends of the flexible member attaches the flexible member in an arcuate shape around the head with the spaced planar portions located above and covering the eyes and the narrowed web portion extending transversely across the nose. The sealing members contact and seal against the body portion around the eyes along the length of the seal members to prevent entry of contaminants into the wearer's eyes.
183 Retractable eyeshield EP88307669.7 1988-08-18 EP0312199A2 1989-04-19 Armstrong, Jeffrey Allan

A retractable, partial eyeshield assembly is attached to a single eye sighting device attached to, for example, a video camera. The partial eyeshield assembly is constructed so that it covers a portion of the medial field of view of the user's nonsighting eye. The obstructed portion of the nonsighting eye's medial field of view corresponds to that portion of the sighting eye's that contains only the image transmitted through the single eye sighting device's sighting aperture. By obstructing the portion of the nonsighting eye's medial field of view, the corresponding field of view in the sighting eye dominates. The obstruction of the portion of the nonsighting eye's field of view is achieved without obstructing a substantial portion of the nonsighting eye's peripheral and medial fields of view.

194 METHOD TO INCREASE SEXUAL POTENCY AND COLOR THERAPY WITH A SPECTACLES FRAME (COLOR THERAPEUTIC FRAME) PCT/RU2009000155 2009-04-01 WO2009145662A3 2010-01-28 GRECHUKHIN ALEKSANDR NIKOLAYEVICH
The invention relates to the field of medicine. The spectacles frame is made of light-dispersing, light-reflecting or luminescent color materials and is the source of irradiation of electromagnetic waves of nanometer lengths. Electromagnetic waves cure causes of diseases and psychological disorders at molecular level, influencing, through the retina, structures of the brain which are inaccessible for other methods of treatment. Small area of the frame within eyesight of man precludes overdosing of color but ensures constant, long and even exposure to waves in the process of treatment and psychological correction. Required results, for instance, dropping of arterial blood pressure, stress and depression relief, higher confidence or treatment of various diseases of heart, kidneys, digestion, etc. are obtained by putting on spectacles with the frame of required color. Higher sexual potency is obtained through the frame with sex stimulating tones, without tinting and darkening the sexual picture "Love effect".

Provided is a simple mounter that can, with the type of eye shield in which a sheet attaches to a frame, significantly reduce the time it takes to attach and remove a sheet to and from the frame and attach a sheet to the frame without soiling a surface of the sheet.

[Means to Achieve Object]

Two through-holes and a slit extending between the two through-holes are provided in each of bilaterally symmetric locations near a top edge of left and right sides of an eye shield sheet configured of an elastic and transparent resin sheet. The eye shield sheet is obtained by forming an elastic rod into an approximate U-shape securable to the head of a wearer, and includes a curved section at each temple region of the wearer that curves inward and is configured to fit into the slit and the two through-holes. Attachment of the sheet to the frame is completed by the wearer first bending the entire sheet and positioning the sheet on the inner side of the frame, and then inserting the curved sections of the frame one side at a time into the sheet simply by pressing the curved section against the slit to open the slit and continue pressing until the frame fits into the two through-holes.
