141 Method of indicating corrected value in wheel balancer JP2247887 1987-02-04 JPS63190952A 1988-08-08 HIHARA YUKIYOSHI; FUJIKAWA MASANORI
PURPOSE:To improve single-sided correction in correcting unbalance only in either one of the inner or outer surface, by indicating on an indicating device an amount to be corrected, a position for correction, and whichever side-surface, whose couple, which occurs after the balance correction and which tends to incline the wheel, is smaller. CONSTITUTION:When a one-side selecting button 41 and a start button 38 are pushed in turn, an amount and a position for correction, which correspond to the unbalance consisting of the unbalance on both inner and outer sides of the wheel, are obtained, and at the same time the absolute values of both unbalance on the inner side and that on the outer side are examined. Based on these results, it is determined to which side (of the inner or outer side) a balance weight should be installed, from the viewpoint of lessening a couple, which occurs after the balance correction and which tends to incline the wheel. After this, both amount and place for correction are indicated only on the amount-indicator 42 or 43 and position-indicator 44 or 46, both of which correspond to the side thus determined. By installing a balance weight based on the above-mentioned indication, a couple, which occurs when the wheel rotates, can be made smaller.

148 Detecting and displaying apparatus for grindstone balance JP11590984 1984-06-06 JPS617434A 1986-01-14 NOGUCHI NORITAKA; NAKANO YOSHIKUNI
PURPOSE:To detect unbalance with a grindstone being attached to a grinder, by detecting the original point of a supporting shaft in the rotating direction, detecting the amounts of deflections of the grindstone and the supporting shaft at a dividing positions, and displaying the maximum or minimum dividing position. CONSTITUTION:With a rotary grindstone being mounted on the supporting shaft of a grinder, a motor is started and a power source switch 16 is turned ON. Thus an initial state is set. Whether the supporting shaft reaches steady rotation or not is jueged by the pulse interval of the detected signal from an original point detector 7. A dividing position of setting device 15 outputs a pulse signal at every 10 degrees of rotary angle. The data of a deflection-amount detector 5 at this time is stored in a memory 29. The data for four rotations are added and the result is stored in a memory 30. Positions indicating the maximum and minimum deflection amounts are stored in memories 31 and 32. The positions are displayed on a display body 18 in a red color. The deflection amount is dispalyed on the display body in a numerical value. When the maximum and minimum values are displayed, a display mode 21a or 21b is lighted.
149 Detecting method of angular position where unbalanced weight of rotating body is present JP3299384 1984-02-23 JPS60177236A 1985-09-11 KAWADA SHIGEKI; AMAMIYA YOUICHI
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to add a mark as a reference position to a rotating body to be tested previously by detecting a counted value corresponding to an angular position where oscillation is maximum, and detecting the angular position corresponding to the counted value. CONSTITUTION:When the unbalanced weight at the periphery of the rotating body 3 to be tested which has periodic projections and recesses on the outer peripheral surface is detected, the rotating body 3 is placed on shaft supporting members 21, 22, and 23 incorporated in bearing cradles 2 and 2' and rotated at a desired speed. Then, a projection and recess detector 4 is used to detect projections and recesses on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body 3, and a counter 5 counts the number of projections and recesses. Then, a two-axial vibration meter 6 is used to detect the angular position where oscillation in the radial direction of the rotating body 3 is maximum. Further, the counted value corresponding to the angular position is detected. Thus, the mark, etc., as the reference point need not be added to the rotating body 3 to be tested and the angular position where the unbalance weight of the rotating body 3 is present is detected easily.

Various input information are printed out on a recording paper with a prescribed format by a printer 7. The figure indicating the mode of the rotating body to be tested is preliminarily printed on this recording paper, and the unbalance position obtained in measurement is printed out with marking or the like on the mode figure. The quantity of unbalance is printed out near the unbalance position.
151 Dynamic balancing device JP8327980 1980-06-18 JPS578429A 1982-01-16 KISHIMOTO KENZOU; WATANABE HIDEMI; ARAI TAKAO; TANAKA KUNIO
PURPOSE:To improve the workability of dynamic balancing work, make work accurate and reduce working time by directly displaying the weights of a weight mounting part to be mounted and a weight in a display device. CONSTITUTION:The vibrations produced when a rotor 3 is rotated are converted to electric signals aL, aR by piezoelectric elements 14L, 14R, and these signals pass through high-pass filters 15L, 15R, which produce signals bL, bR. The phases of the signals bL, bR correspond to the unbalance angles of the rotor 3, and the amplitudes thereof to the rates of unbalance; therefore, they are converted to the signals indicating phases iL, iR, and amplitudes cL, cR, and are inputted to an A/D converter 19, by which they are converted to a binary digital signal (j). An arithmetic circuit 25 has the storage element inputted with a conversion table, makes the signal (l) indicating a selection of a suited weight to be mounted to a corresponding mounting hole 6 for the weight of the rotor 3 by processing the signal (j) indicating the angle of unbalance and the amt. of unbalance according to the conversion table, and outputs the same to an image display device.
152 Wheel balancer employing phasic display system by light beam JP5991380 1980-05-08 JPS56157829A 1981-12-05 NAGURA YOSHIHIKO
PURPOSE:To improve workability and accuracy by a method wherein the phase of unbalance is stored, and after measurement and the wheel has stopped, a signal is outputted at the weight attaching position. CONSTITUTION:A wheel 12 is mounted on a spindle 4 and rotated by operating a motor 10, through a transmission member 9. An up/down counter 19 is reset by using the pulse generated once every turn of the wheel 12 in synchronization with the phase of unbalance. When a switch S2 is turned off after measurement has been completed, a rotary encoder 11 and the up/down counter 19 have memorized the phase of unbalance. Therefore, if the wheel 12 is manually rotated to the position at which a beam projecting lamp 3 is turned on, the zero position of the up/down counter 19 sholud be reached. This shows the phase of unbalance.
