Le dispositif de repérage de niveau selon l'invention comprend une sonde 1 montée sur une colonne verticale 9 coulissant axialement dans une glissière 10 fixée dans le corps du dispositif. Dans ledit corps est montée pivotante une tige filetée 12 pouvant être entraînée au moyen d'un volant de manoeuvre 13. Un écrou débrayable 17, permet d'assurer en position embrayée, le coulissement de la colonne 9 sous l'effet de la rotation de la tige 12. Un dispositif de transmission 21 effectue la commande d'un potentiomètre 24 en fonction de la position de la colonne 9.

L'invention s'applique notamment au dosage de produits liquides.

A method for measuring the level of molten metal is also disclosed. The present invention is able to eliminate the influence by the slag layer floating on the molten metal and to achieve stably and continuously accurate measurement of molten metal level by using the measuring probe (6) inserting into molten metal through the slag-metal interface and having the slag thickness information after lifted.

The device comprises also an elongate tubular element (6) which has an inlet aperture (6a) arranged close to a bottom surface (1a) in the fuel tank and an outlet aperture (6b) adapted to being arranged at a location external to the fuel tank (1). The removal of water from the fuel tank (1) is made possible by activation of a pump device (8-11).
