PURPOSE: To improve efficiency by manufacturing a vane with an aluminum alloy base material with the specific thermal expansion coefficient, Rockwell hardness and permanent distortion after heat history (200°C×100Hr) and making a gap between a ring and the vane small. CONSTITUTION: A vane 3 is manufactured with an aluminum alloy base material with the thermal expansion coefficient of 19×10 -6/°C (room temperature 200°C) or below, the hardness of HRB80 or above, and the permanent distortion of 0.01% or below after heat history (200°C×100Hr). Si 14-22wt.% is superposed on this aluminum alloy base material to increase the hardness and reduce the thermal expansion coefficient, and at least one kind of Fe, Mn, Ni, Cr, Co 5-10% is contained to provide the hardness and abrasion resistance. Aging treatment is performed for 3-10Hr at 200-240°C after the proper solution treatment to reduce permanent distortion. PURPOSE:To set a small clearance between vanes and a liner portion for improving compression efficiency by using carbon fiber reinforced aluminum having approximately same coefficient of thermal expansion as the liner portion and liner side portion for vane material. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fiber reinforced aluminum (40vol% of carbon fiber) having approximately same coefficient of thermal expansion as iron (8X10<-6>/ deg.C) is used for material of vanes 3a, 3b. The surface of the aluminum becomes extremely smooth through a finish polishing process and has a small coefficient of friction to hardened polished steel and improved durability and slidable properaty. Thus, from cold running start to hot running can be maintained a clearance between the vanes and the liner portion or the like at a minimum to provide excellent volume efficiency. | ||||||
