A large, heavy built structure is moved safely and rapidly from a first position to a second position both on a common ground surface by installing on the ground surface a temporary water-retaining wall enclosure surrounding commonly the built structure at the first position and the second position, supplying water into the enclosure thereby to raise the structure by flotation off the ground surface, applying force to move the structure in the raised state to a position immediately above the second position, and draining the water out of the enclosure thereby to cause the structure to descend onto the second position. A buoyant built structure is floated as it is, while a non-buoyant structure is provided with floats. A structure which must not be wetted is built beforehand in a tray-like vessel of sufficient buoyancy. |

The present invention relates to a variable shipbuilding dock and a method for mounting ship blocks using the same, wherein the method is to quickly mount the ship blocks using the variable shipbuilding dock properly varied according to the ship blocks forming a ship. Provided is the variable shipbuilding dock which comprises a latching protrusion (12) formed on the bottom thereof, a latching protrusion (12) formed on the internal bottom thereof and separated from the latching protrusion (12) at a distance, and a dock gate (20) capable of being opened or closed, wherein the dock gate (20) is capable of moving after floated so that the variable shipbuilding dock can be variably used. In addition, provided is the method for mounting ship blocks using the variable shipbuilding dock, wherein the method comprises: a first step of floating the dock gate (20) by discharging water from the inside of the dock gate (20); a second step of pushing and moving the dock gate (20) to the inside of the variable shipbuilding dock (10) using at least one tug boat (20) after the first step; a third step of sinking the dock gate (20) by injecting the water to the inside of the dock gate (20) in order to close the variable shipbuilding dock (10) after the second step; a fourth step of moving a carrier mounted with the ship block to the inside of the variable shipbuilding dock (10) after the third step; a fifth step of discharging water inside the variable shipbuilding dock (10) to the outside after the fourth step; and a sixth step of mounting the ship block from the carrier (50) to the inside of the variable shipbuilding dock (10) using a crane (30) after the fifth step. |
