PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rewinding pinning cakes excluding error sources such as loosening or sloughing off in rewinding. SOLUTION: This method comprise following steps: The final stroke of a yarn guide tube moved toward the middle of the spinning cake in a last stroke is made shorter than a next-to-last stroke of the yarn guide once a predetermined size of the spinning cake is reached before initiating rewinding of the spinning cake onto the rewinding body. A delivery of the sliver from the drafting configuration is stopped once a reversing point of stroke is reached. The rewinding body is introduced into the spinning pot and the yarn is transferred onto the rewinding body. The rewinding body is raised into a rewinding position. A piece of yarn extending from a tube tip of the rewinding body to the spinning cake in the last yarn guide stroke is wound onto the rewinding body, and the piece of yarn is covered with subsequently wound-on yarn layers. PURPOSE: To decrease the limitation of the yarn-take up speed on the bobbin depending on the actuation speed of the draft mechanism by arranging a plurality of drafting mechanisms for feeding the fiber bundles to a pair of spinning pots and specifying the yarn-winding up speed and the phase shift. CONSTITUTION: The fiber bundle is fed from a drafting mechanism 1 to a pair of centrifugal spinning pots A, B, tentatively stored on the yarn-storing bobbins 16A, 16B, connected, as the stored yarns are rewound, via the intermediate reserve yarn bobbin mechanism and wound up on the bobbin 32. An n number (n>2) of draft mechanisms are arranged in parallel, driven at the same speed and the continuous take-up speed of the yarns on the bobbins is set to n-fold of the actuation speed of the drafting mechanism. The phase shift is introduced, while the feed of the fiber bundle is switched to a different spinning pot, to set to the time of 1/(2n) of the feed cycle of one of the pot pair and to the drawing speed of the stored yarn >= the feeding speed of the spinning pot.

PURPOSE: To obtain short fiber yarns, at high productivity, by simultaneously supplying them to both centrifugal spindles winding them in a working process in a given time band, to twine the drawn fiber yarns in two stages. CONSTITUTION: This method is to draw, by means of a drawing device 1, short fiber yarns 9 passing through an opened stopping device 2, send them to the centrifugal spindle 6 from the discharge port 4, during which they are partly twined, while withdrawing the short fiber yarns 10 from the centrifugal spindle 7 to be wound on the winding device 9, during which they are twined completely. During this time band, sending the short fiber yarns 11 to the discharge port 5 is suspended by the stopping device 5. The stopping device 5 is opened, on completion of the corresponding preparation process, and the short fiber yarns 11 are supplied to the centrifugal spindle 7, to allow the above steps to proceed in the reversed order. The working process is timed in such a way to simultaneously supply the short fiber yarns 9, 11 to both centrifugal spindles 6, 7 in a given time band. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
