122 CENTRIFUGAL SPINNING MACHINE EP92912390.9 1992-05-14 EP0575620A1 1993-12-29 SAVINOV, Evgeny Rafailovich; ZELDIN, July Rafailovich

In the spinning unit of a centrifugal spinning machine the yarn conduct (4, 5) mounted between the revolving tube (2) ad the yarn spreader (8) is designed so as to open on the side of the rewinding unit consisting of a winding drum (17) and a cartridge holder (18). The yarn conduct opens without displacement of the yarn (28) from its longitudinal axis. This allows to reduce the friction of the yarn (28) against the wall of the yarn conduct (4, 5) during the spinning process and to reduce the friction of the yarn (28) against the wall and the upper end of the spreader (8) during the rewinding process, as well as to bring the rewinding unit closer to the spinning unit.

123 Topfspinnvorrichtung EP92102986.4 1992-02-22 EP0504615A1 1992-09-23 Brockmanns, Karl-Josef, Dr. Ing.; Hartel, Robert, Dr. Ing.; Derichs, Josef, Dr. Ing.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a spinning centrifugal machine in a proper state, especially in an empty state when starting a spinning cycle. SOLUTION: Individual spinning centrifugal machines 14 of a centrifugal spinning machine are inspected for the presence of yarn body residues 30 when a spinning cycle of the centrifugal spinning machine having the many same operating sites is started. The respective rotational frequencies of yarn legs 20 in the individual operating sites of the centrifugal spinning machine are detected and the measured rotational frequencies are respectively compared with a target value. The occasionally present yarn residues 30 in the one or more operating sites of the spinning centrifugal machines 14 are directly recognized by the production of a difference in the rotational frequencies for the target value. When measuring the rotational frequencies of the yarn legs 20, spinning is carried out on the occasionally still present yarn body residues 30 and a state in which a reduction in free radius caused thereby results in a reduction in the rotational frequencies of the yarn legs 20 is utilized. 135 Centrifugal spinning method JP26981794 1994-11-02 JPH07189047A 1995-07-25 KARUROSU PUHORU IZERUN
PURPOSE: To enable the continuous production of centrifugally spun yarn which is excellent in both of quality and cost without using a cutting device. CONSTITUTION: In centrifugal spinning having two spinning pots, a timer device 21 as a controller activates a selector valve 24 to pass the pressure air from a pressurized air source S via conduits 5 and 5' under draft devices 1 and 2 to the spun yarn arriving at the other spinning pot 7 at the end of the prescribed time when a prescribed amount of the yarn is spun in the one spinning pot 8. The yarn traveling in a conduit 6 is then clamped to a bobbin 10 for storage by a pressing member 12. Simultaneously, helical twists are applied to the slivers delivered from the draft devices 1 and 2 and the slivers are guided via the helical air flow of a nozzle 22 to the spinning pot 7, by which the spun yarn is formed. When the prescribed amount of the yarn is spun in the spinning pot 7 similarly thereafter, the timer device 31 activates the selector valve 24 to change over the spinning to the spinning by the spinning pot 8 via the conduits 6 and 6' and a nozzle 23.
