The invention pertains to a centrifugal spinning process for spinning a yarn of a classical type, wherein either in one step a fully twisted yarn or in a first step a partially twisted yarn is spun into a centrifuge (6) and removed, with the partially twisted yarn being given the remaining twist upon removal, in a second step during the winding up, using a centrifuge (6), drafting rollers (1), a joining member (2) and a traversing thread guide tube (4). The centrifuge (6) rotates in a chamber (7) at low pressure (pu), but within the centrifuge (6) there is normal air pressure (pn) and the spinning in within the centrifuge (6) is done under normal air pressure, with the low pressure (pu) being set so that essentially only bearing friction is generated in the rotation of the centrifuge (6), the air friction of the outer wall of the centrifuge (6, 35, 45, 53) in relation to a housing (5') being largely suppressed. A vacuum centrifuge (5) is rotatably mounted within a housing (5'), with variable low pressure (pu) in the chamber (7) between the centrifuge (6) and the housing (5'), the low pressure being adjustable so that essentially only the bearing friction of the centrifuge is generated with rotation, the air friction of the outer wall of the centrifuge being largely suppressed.

107 | DEVICE FOR RENDERING HARMLESS AND/OR PREVENTING THE FORMATION OF A THREAD FIBRE AND/OR THREAD BREAKAGE IN A THREAD SPUN BY A CENTRIFUGAL SPINNER AND PROCESS THEREFOR | PCT/DE9500042 | 1995-01-16 | WO9519459A3 | 1995-08-24 | KOENIG REINHARD; KOENIG FRIEDRICH; KOENIG GEORG |
The invention relates to a device for rendering harmless a thread fibre (28) of a thread to be spun in a centrifugal spinner (1, 20) with changing thread feed pipe (6) and twisting device (5) in which the centrifugal spinner (20) has an additional joining chamber (22, 23) at its upper and/or lower end between the yarn packing region in which spinning is briefly effected during joining and the changing of the thread feed pipe (6) is stopped at top or bottom dead centre until joining is completed and only then is the thread feed pipe (6) changed. The invention also relates to a device and process for avoiding the formation of a thread fibre (28, 37) and/or a break in a thread spun with a centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40) with a changing thread feed pipe (6, 38) and twisting device (5), in which a catch thread (14, 25) is arranged in the region of the opening (3) of the centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40) which can be lowered into and raised out of the centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40) and is secured at the end away from the centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40) and can project at the forward end (15, 26) into the centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40). The thread is preferably inserted and lowered into the centrifugal spinner (1, 20, 40) by a grip-pipe (13).
108 | METHOD FOR OPERATING A SPINNING DEVICE | PCT/EP0302805 | 2003-03-18 | WO03078708A8 | 2004-07-22 | BRUSS KARL-HEINZ; KOLTZE KARL; FINGEL OLIVER |
The invention relates to a method for operating a spinning device, comprising a centrifugal spinning element, which rotates at a high rotational speed, and a thread guide tube, which projects into the centrifugal spinning element and which is provided with a re-reeling sleeve that is displaceably mounted thereon. The thread guide tube executes, relative to the centrifugal spinning element, a traversing travel and a superimposed forward movement and places a yarn package with a cop winding onto the inner wall of the centrifugal spinning element. The invention provides that, at the end of the regular spinning process as well as in the event of thread breakage during the spinning process, a drive of the thread guide tube is controlled in such a manner that: the last traversing movement of the thread guide tube runs upward to a re-reeling position that is specified by the lowermost dead center of the traversing travel; the re-reeling sleeve on the thread guide tube is subsequently lowered by defined distance; a re-reeling process is initiated, and; after completion of the re-reeling process, the thread guide tube is driven into a lower stop whereby the resulting spinning cop is transferred into a defined doffing position.

The invention relates to a method and a device for operating a centrifugal spinning and twisting frame (1) comprising a plurality of identical spinning points (2), each having an individual motor-driven spinning centrifuge (8), a yarn carrier tube (7), which is mounted so that it can be displaced vertically in relation to the spinning centrifuge (8), in addition to its own computer (14). According to the invention, at the start of the spinning process for a new yarn, or a yarn for which the frame parameters are to be modified, at least one of the yarn body parameters is determined by means of at least one reference spinning point (3), which has a sensor device (17) that is connected to a data determination and evaluation device (13), said parameters being (average structural density rho (R)), minimum internal radius (R(min)) and maximum cone taper ( gamma KZ (max)) of a yarn body (21) that forms on the internal wall (20) of the spinning centrifuge (8) of the reference spinning point (3). The frame parameters of the "normal" spinning points (2), for example the traversing motion of the yarn carrier tube (7), are then adjusted accordingly.

In the spinning unit of a centrifugal spinning machine the yarn conduct (4, 5) mounted between the revolving tube (2) and the yarn spreader (8) is designed so as to open on the side of the rewinding unit consisting of a winding drum (17) and a cartridge holder (18). The yarn conduct opens without displacement of the yarn (28) from its longitudinal axis. This allows to reduce the friction of the yarn (28) against the wall of the yarn conduct (4, 5) during the spinning process and to reduce the friction of the yarn (28) against the wall and the upper end of the spreader (8) during the rewinding process, as well as to bring the rewinding unit closer to the spinning unit.
