Es sind keine zusätzlichen Mittel zur Sicherung der anzubietenden Waren vorgesehen. Die Regalböden sind flach und eben und haben an ihrem Außenumfang keine Kanten, die Stützen sind vorzugsweise aus einem Strangpressprofil hergestellt, vorzugsweise aus Aluminium. Die reibungserhöhenden Mittel sind vorzugsweise Gummileisten, deren Profil geeignet ist, in einer Ausnehmung in den Stützen hinein gepasst zu werden. Dazu sind in dem Strangpressprofil Ausnehmungen mit entsprechenden Kanten vorgesehen, welche den in die Ausnehmung gesteckten Teil der Gummileisten teilweise umschließen.
