| PURPOSE: To enable a driver to execute a modulation stroke by actuating a clutch by a computer on the basis of a signal from a clutch state detecting means when control mechanism is in a release position not actuated by the driver. CONSTITUTION: When a driver actuates or slowly releases control mechanism (clutch pedal) 8, a computer 40 drives a driving means 20 by a signal of a position sensor 50 to move a movable support point 13 into the terminal position of a stroke detected by a position sensor 60. When the control mechanism 8 is detected to be in a release position by a sensor 51, on the other hand, the computer 40 actuates the driving means on the basis of information of throttle opening detected by a detecting means 100, acceleration of a vehicle, and the like to operate a clutch to slide through an actuating means 200, a transmission means 30, a cable 1, a fork 4 and an operating mechanism 3. The driver can thus execute a modulation stroke by a simple method. | ||||||
