L'invention est utilisable pour des ponts de franchissement d'une rivière. |

The moving bridge, in particular for crossing a waterway 1, comprising a mobile part 4 consisting of a framework 6 and a platform 7, and a fixed part 5 situated under the mobile part 4 for receiving the latter, is characterised in that it comprises: at least at each longitudinal end of the bridge, mobile means 10 for coupling and support between the fixed part 5 and the mobile part 4, these mobile means 10 being situated completely under the mobile part 4 and being arranged and coupled between the fixed part 5 and the mobile part 4 in order to move in a substantially vertical plane; and actuation means 21, at least at each longitudinal end of the bridge, which act at each end between the fixed part 5 and the mobile part 4 in order to move the bridge in vertical translation, the whole being such that, for any position of the bridge, no superstructure extends upwards beyond the mobile part 4 and that the fixed part 5, the mobile coupling and support means 10 and the actuation means 21 are situated completely under the mobile part 4. |

The pedestrian footbridge consists of three prefabricated sections, two identical self-supporting side columns and a central transverse section, the ends of which rest on the top of the side columns. The central section can be quickly lifted by a crane to allow an exceptionally high vehicle to pass underneath. The entire structure is easily dismantled and transported elsewhere. The bridge is made of sheet-metal which is cut, bent round a mould and then the shapes are assembled to form caissons whose section corresponds to the calculated stress and bending moments. |
