The invention provides methods for the application of active materials onto active surfaces useful in organic electronic devices. The methods of the invention include selecting a liquid composition including an active material and a suitable liquid medium whereby when the liquid composition is deposited on the desired active surface it has no greater than about a 40° contact angle; treating the active surface to raise its surface tension before the deposition of a liquid composition containing the desired active material is deposited thereon; and combination thereof. The invention also provides organic electronic devices having at least two active layers, wherein at least one active layer comprises an active material that was deposited using at least one practice of the method of the invention. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aqueous solution obtained by mixing natural components, contributing to the preservation of natural environment and usable in multiple uses.
SOLUTION: This aqueous solution is produced by mixing water having reducing power (liquid A) with one or more liquids selected from a mixed vinegar (liquid B) composed mainly of vitamin C, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, citric acid and malic acid, a plum vinegar (liquid C), a seaweed extract (liquid D) and a wood vinegar or bamboo vinegar (liquid E). The water having reducing power is preferably produced by immersing a granular ceramic material composed mainly of a compound oxide of Si, Al, Ca and Fe in a flowing water and frictionizing the granular ceramic with the flowing water.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a detergent composition for laundry good in fluidity by using a ribbon mixer.
SOLUTION: As a result of intensive studies made by present inventors, et al. to solve the problems, it has been found that a detergent composition retaining excellent fluidity is obtained by regulating the order of addition of components constituting the detergent when producing the detergent composition comprising a specific silicate having high hygroscopicity, thus achieving the present invention. That is, the method for producing the detergent composition for the laundry is characterized as comprising preadding silicic acid anhydride in an amount of 0.5-5 mass % based on the detergent composition to an apparatus, then starting the stirring and mixing, adding and mixing other detergent constituent components, completing the spray of a liquid consisting essentially of a nonionic surfactant and subsequently adding a soap powder having ≥50% soap content and ≥0.5 g/mL bulk density and then a silicate in (1/1) to (1/3) molar ratio of SiO2/M2O (M denotes an alkali metal) in the order mentioned when producing the detergent composition by stirring and mixing the detergent constituent components while spraying the liquid consisting essentially of the nonionic surfactant.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, requiring a small amount thereof used and a short time for cleaning and capable of reducing the amount of a subsequent resin for replacement used and useful for cleaning the interior of a molding machine or an extruder by including a thermoplastic resin, a methyl methacrylate-styrene copolymer or the like therein.
SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing (A) a thermoplastic resin such as a polypropylene or a high-density polyethylene with (B) a methyl methacrylate-styrene copolymer, having preferably 10,000-150,000 number-average molecular weight and containing 15-30 wt.% methyl methacrylate and (C) a boric acid ester metallic salt of a higher fatty acid monoglyceride (e.g. a boric acid ester calcium salt of a stearic acid monoglyceride) in a stirring mixer or the like. The amounts of the components are preferably 60-97.5 wt.% component A, 0.5-10 wt.% component B and 2-30 wt.% component C. The resultant composition can be used to clean an injection molding machine, a T-die extruder or the like.

An aqueous single liquid phase detergent composition suitable for topical application to human skin comprises from 10 to 50% by weight of one or more C12 to C18 fatty acid soaps; and from 5 to 30% by weight of one or more ethoxylated C8 to C22 fatty alcohol having an average of from 20 to 50 ethoxylate groups. The composition is preferably in the form of a transparent gel product, suitably for washing the face. |

PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition which is excellent in foaming power and detergency and does not give the feeling of stiffness or dryness to the skin by mixing a higher fatty acid salt with a specified sugar surfactant and a terpene alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises a higher fatty acid salt a sugar surfactant (B) of the formula (wherein R<1> is 8-18 C linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl or phenyl; R<2> is 2-4 C alkylene; G is a 5-6 C reducing sugar; m is 0-10; and n is 1-10) and a terpene alcohol and/or its derivative. This composition is used desirably in the form of a liquid, a cream or the like. To prepare such a liquid or creamy detergent composition, the above components are uniformly mixed and dispersed in an aqueous base. This composition is useful especially for cleaning the skin of a face, a hand or the like or for cleaning the hair. |

PURPOSE: To provide a surface treating agent which provides a degreasing and descaling effect in a short time by the touch of an applicating operation and hardly changes in the lapse of time for a long period of time by consisting the same of a sulfamic acid, methyl alcohol, surface active agent and water.
CONSTITUTION: This surface treating agent consists of a sulfamic acid, methyl alcohol, surface active agent and water, is added, is necessary, with a hydrofluoric acid and acetone and provides a degreasing and descaling effect by the touch of an applicating operation. Said agent exhibits an excellent effect for degreasing and descaling a printed circuit board in particular by dipping for about 30sec and hardly melts the copper of the circuit board. Since the surface treating agent contains a surface active agent to decrease surface tension, the agent provides the effect by penetrating thoroughly into the stacked circuit boards. The treating agent hardly changes in the lapse of time of about two years. The above-described hydrofluoric acid and acetone are added to the treating agent to adjust the strength thereof when there are much of stains and rust difficult to remove.
