The stabilised chloroparaffins contain magnesium alcoholates in quantities between 0.05 and 2.0% by weight based on the chloroparaffin. The magnesium alcoholates can be derived from aliphatic alkanols or from ether alcohols; the preferred stabiliser is magnesium methylglycolate. |
