PURPOSE: To permit the collection of fine dust particles by a simplified structure of a device in which plural gas discharge ports provided with guiding blades to give swirling flow to dust-containing gas and a rectifying blade are provided to a dust- containing gas discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION: In the inside of a outer cylinder 11, a separator D is provided with a boss 12 concentrically which are supported by guide blades 13 to give a swirling flow to dust-contaning gas G and supporters 14. And, the outer cylinder 11 is provided with a separating chamber 16 with a separating groove 15 and a dust-enriched gas discharging port 17 on the upflow side of the dust-containing gas G of the supporter 14. The guide blade 13, having a S(interval)/C(length) ratio of approx. 0.6W0.3 is set so as to form a swirling angle α of approx. 40W70°. Thus, sufficient swirling flow can be given to the incoming dust-containing gas and therefore sufficient centrifugal force to collect fine dust particles can be produced. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
190 Multiple annular type axial-flow cyclone JP5176979 1979-04-26 JPS55142556A 1980-11-07 TEJIMA KIYOMI; TSUBOI TOSHIO; KAJITANI YUKIMASA
PURPOSE: To raise the total efficiency of dust collecting by permitting the collection even finer dust particles by using a multiple annular type axial-flow cyclone in which guide blades by which give swirl flow to gas are provided inside an outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The inside of an outer cylinder 11 of a multiple annular type axial- flow cyclone is provided concentrically with a boss 12 and inner cylinders 13 and 14 and these inclusions are supported radially by guide blades 15 to give a swirling flow to dust-containing gas G, a rectifying blade 16, and discharging pipes 17 and 18 to form the first, second and third paths P1WP3. Also, a dust-enriched gas discharging port 19, separating grooves 20W22 and a separating chamber 23 are provided. Thus, when dust-containing gas is flowed into the cyclone, a swirling flow is formed by the guide blades 15 and therefore sufficient centrifugal force is produced, whereby permitting finer dust particles to be collected. PURPOSE: To separate pulverulent bodies into a cone of a lower portion of a cylinder body, whose axis is made horizontal, to decrease the interference of a spiral vortex and to improve the efficiency of the collection of the pulverulent bodies, by a method wherein gas is introduced in the tangential direction of the cylinder body, turned and exhausted in the axis direction. CONSTITUTION: Gas containing pulverulent bodies rises in a duct 1, and is induced into a turning chamber 3 of a cylinder body 2 in the tangential direction. In this case, the gas turns without the turbulence of the current by means of a turning guide plate 10, and is exhausted from a duct 5 through a cylinder portion 4. The pulverulent bodies contained in the gas are drawn near an inwall of the cylinder body 2 by centrifugal force. The gas containing the pulverulent bodies, whose concentration is high, falls in space 14 along the inwall 8a and a collecting guide plate 13. Since a cone 8 is formed in a shape that its lower portion becomes narrower, the speed of a fall is increased, and the pulverulent bodies drop into a collecting cylinder 9 by downward inertia force and are discharged.
