CONSTITUTION: An appropriate amount of potato is mixed with starting materials for rice cracker and a fried vegetable ingredient containing potato as a component is placed on the rice cracker or three-layered rice cracker is made by laying the vegetable ingredient between two sheets of rice cracker. Further, when necessary, the roasted rice cracker is formed into chow men with a slitter or waferlike rice cracker seasoned with two sweet and salt tastes. The fried vegetable ingredient on the rice cracker may be made a whirle pattern. On the starting materials may be stored in a refrigerator after they are roasted to 60% level. The apparatus for making the rice cracker is driven by electric motor 1 whose rotation can be freely controlled, drum 2 is rotated by chain and steel band 3 is driven. The starting material feeder 4 and ingredient feeder 13 and finishing material feeder 16 and other device are provided above the band 3.
