CONSTITUTION: The microbes floating or near the water surface, for example, water-bloom, etc. are recovered together with water with a recovering device 1 of float overflow type floated on a lake and are once stored in a flow rate control tank 2. The water contg. the microbes is flowed from said tank at a specified flow rate into a concentrator. A flocculating agent is first mixed with the raw liquid with a line mixer 3, and both are allowed to react in a stagnating tank 4. The properly flocculated underwater suspended solids are fed to a pressure floating tank 11 of overflow type, where the underwater suspended solids formed into large lumps by the flocculating agent are stuck with foam and float quickly. The scum thereof is recovered together with the water on the top surface with a float type weir 33 and is then fed into a concentrator 15 of magnetic disc type. Magnetic iron pwoder and the flocculating agent are added to the scum during said feeding, whereby the floc of the scum + the magnetic iron powder is formed. Such floc is recovered with the permanent magnet on the disc into a tank 16. The concd. underwater suspended solids separated of the magnetic iron powder in a centrifugal separator 18 after agitation are recovered into a tank 19.
